Media Wise Communications wins its third consecutive gold at the 2025 Gold Quill Awards

Media Wise Communications/MUSE Books, a boutique publication house with a big stash of local and international awards, made off with yet another golden win at the 2025 Gold Quill Awards for the autobiographical book Never Stand Alone by RCBC president and CEO Eugene S. Acevedo, besting an international field of entries from major organizations and publication houses.

The gold, Media Wise’s third consecutive in just two years, marked the ninth time that it had won in the prestigious Gold Quill Awards in eight years—and a remarkable second time that it had managed a kind of three-peat: from 2019 to 2021 and from 2023 to 2025.

In both the 2023 and 2024 IABC Gold Quill Awards, Media Wise had actually won two Gold Quills for each year, a rare feat that not only solidified its position as a leader in the field of publications and communication but also showcased its extraordinary dedication to excellence.�
Media Wise was also the only winner from the Philippines in the 2025 IABC Gold Quill Awards in the Writing Category (Communication Skills Division), and one of just five from the Philippines in all categories.

Media Wise CEO and publisher Ramoncito Ocampo Cruz, editor John Nery, and author Acevedo received the Gold Quill from the Chicago based the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Never Stand Alone received high praise from judges for its inspirational content and ability to resonate with a diverse audience. The book's focus on collaboration and teamwork in today's fast-paced world struck a chord with reviewers, emphasizing the timeless lessons it imparts to readers.

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) recognizes excellence in strategic communication worldwide via its annual IABC Gold Quill Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit. Each year hundreds of entries from all over the world vie for the global awards. This year saw more than 300 submissions from 17 countries, further underscoring the significance of Eugene S.
