Fully passable na sa light vehicles ang Rockshield tunnel ng Kennon Road matapos ang matagumpay na clearing operations ng DPWH-CAR.

Patuloy ang road monitoring ng Tuba Municipal Police Station para sa kaligtasan ng lahat ng dumaraan.

Paalala mga Kasama: Mag-ingat pa rin sa biyahe, lalo na kung maulan o mahamog, dahil nananatiling landslide-prone ang lugar.

₱100 Milyong Halaga ng Ipinagbabawal na Agricultural Products, Nasabat sa Subic

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — Ipinrisinta sa media, Martes umaga, sa New Container Terminal ang tinatayang ₱100 milyong halaga ng mga hinihinalang ipinuslit na produktong agrikultural, kabilang ang sibuyas, carrots, at frozen mackerel mula China. Pinangunahan ang inspeksyon nina Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Subic District Collector Noel C. Estanislao, Department of Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, at SBMA Chairman Engr. Eduardo Jose Aliño, bilang tugon sa kautusan ng DA na huwag munang palalabasin ang 59 container vans.

Sa isinagawang masusing beripikasyon, lumabas na 52 container vans lamang ang aktwal na naka-consign sa limang kumpanya, at ang naunang bilang na 59 ay dahil umano sa clerical error at magkakapatong na Alert Order references. Sa naturang bilang, 7 container ang una nang na-release matapos mapatunayang walang paglabag, habang 14 pa ang pinayagang ilabas matapos ang 100% physical examination. Samantala, 31 container ang nananatili sa kustodiya ng customs dahil sa kakulangan ng kinatawan mula sa consignee o DA-IE sa mga cold storage warehouse.

Ayon kay Sec. Laurel, tinitingnan nila ang isyu bilang banta sa pambansang seguridad, kaya't nagsagawa sila ng pagpupulong kasama sina BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, PNP Chief Gen. Nicholas Torre, CIDG, at NSA Sec. Eduardo Año. Dagdag pa niya, tatlong container na consigned sa Queenstar Industry and Consumer Trading ang isinailalim sa Warrant of Seizure and Detention matapos matuklasang naglalaman ng carrots at frozen mackerel na labag sa batas sa importasyon ng produktong agrikultural. | via Mhike Cigaral

P170K Halaga ng Shabu Nasamsam; Suspek Timbog sa Buy-Bust ng Limay PNP

LIMAY, BATAAN — Nasamsam ng mga awtoridad ang tinatayang 25 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng Php170,000 at naaresto ang isang drug suspect sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng Limay Municipal Police Station at Bataan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit nitong Martes, Hulyo 8, 2025 bandang 3:25 ng hapon sa Barangay Lamao, Limay, Bataan.

Ayon sa ulat na isinumite kay Bataan Police Provincial Director PCOL Marites A. Salvadora, matagumpay ang operasyon sa ilalim ng pinaigting na kampanya laban sa iligal na droga. Isinagawa ang operasyon sa pakikipagtulungan ng mga operatiba ng Limay PNP at Bataan PDEU, na nagresulta sa pagkakakumpiska ng mga ebidensiya at pagkakaaresto ng suspek.

Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Limay Municipal Police Station ang suspek at mga ebidensiya para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at disposisyon. Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | via Mhike Cigaral
