AANHPI Community Leaders Honor Clark County DA Steve Wolfson for Commitment to Justice and Safety
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA — October 21, 2025 —
In a show of unity and appreciation, One APIA Nevada and Bamboo Bridges—two organizations dedicated to empowering and uplifting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities—held a press conference at the Chinatown Plaza Parking Lot to publicly recognize Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson for his steadfast commitment to justice and public safety.
The event brought together community leaders, residents, victim advocates, and public safety partners who expressed their gratitude for Wolfson’s leadership, particularly in relation to the recent prosecution of a high-profile assault case that affected members of the AANHPI community.
In a Statement of Appreciation delivered during the gathering, representatives said:
“We sincerely thank District Attorney Steve Wolfson for prioritizing the safety and well-being of our community. His diligent pursuit of justice, especially in the recent assault case, demonstrates a strong commitment to upholding the law and ensuring accountability. We appreciate his decisive leadership in protecting our neighborhoods.”
Another segment of the message emphasized the importance of solidarity and vigilance:
“This case serves as a reminder that violence has no place in our neighborhoods, and we are thankful to have a District Attorney who takes such matters seriously and acts decisively to protect our community. Thank you for your leadership and continued service.”
Organizers highlighted that the event aimed not only to express appreciation but also to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement, advocacy groups, and the broader public in addressing crimes affecting minority communities.
One APIA Nevada and Bamboo Bridges reaffirmed their shared mission to build awareness, foster collaboration, and ensure equitable justice for all residents across Southern Nevada.
