Fresh from the Coachella stint and before they go on their world tour, BINI approached us to create performance visuals for their launching concert. We would’ve loved to take on more but our workload only allowed us to create something for their opening number and their main spiels. Hope we would have the bandwidth to do more next time!

After we made the anniversary spot for Car-Free Sundays at Ayala Avenue last year, we also created artworks based on it that can be used for a poster, shirt, tote bag, and other merch.

It obviously didn't push through, but we loved what we made so much to leave it in the dust bin. So here we are sharing with you some of those designs.

Would love to drink water from that paper cup after a hot 5K run. :D

The star is a persistent motif throughout the short film, starting from the falling star, to the stitched design at the back of Ely’s jacket, the belt buckle, all the way to the Christmas tree at the end.

The pattern on the star, though, is a nod to Childhope, with the design inspired by street grids and open books: a grounded design on an element from the heavens.

As Ely Buendia himself will be featured in the short film as a CG character, we needed to design and build him into the world. Take a look at how this process happened, from look development, modeling, texturing, to cloth simulation (for his star-studded jacket), rigging and final animation.
