From first draft to final
‘Living Tableau’ project for Warner Bros Hotel Abu Dhabi

Because we were dealing with established IPs, there was a lot of back & forth to sculpt and pose the models the right way. In between these screenshots are months and months and MONTHS of work.

This was also the project that took the longest render time so far: About 4-5mins per frame with completion finished after a few months via render farm.

'Living Tableau' is a set of 3 ultrawide digital bas-relief panoramas consisting of almost 40+ characters that we sculpted from scratch for the Warner Bros Hotel in Abu Dhabi. It was designed to be displayed as a slow-panning, subtly-shifting backdrop to the hotel's grand reception lobby.

The IPs here span the whole breadth of the Warner Bros franchise: from Looney Tunes, Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, to the 5 heavy-hitters of the Justice League, to the cinematic properties like Iron Giant, 2001: A Space Oddysey, Lord of the Rings, Dumb & Dumber, Big Bang Theory, Gremlins, 300, Wizard of Oz, Game of Thrones, Su***de Squad, and even Gravity! *whew*

This was made with a mighty team of talented digital sculptors and in collaboration with Digital Kitchen LA. Check it out if ever you happen to be in Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi!
