Genyo Spotlight | Admin Spotlight

Digitalization Means Convenience

We’re happy to share a short reflection from one of our partner educators at Philippine Cultural College Caloocan, Mrs. Wilma F. Mallari.
She shared how Genyo helped improve online communication within their school, not just among teachers and students, but also with parents. Traditional activities like quiz bee contests and releasing test results have become more efficient and easier to manage through the platform.

She also mentioned that Genyo’s programs have supported better collaboration in both academic and non-academic areas, helping build a stronger sense of community in their school.
Thank you, Mrs. Mallari, for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad to be part of your journey toward more efficient and connected learning.

Stay tuned for more inspiring stories!

Genyo Spotlight | Teacher Spotlight

It’s that time of year again, when we shine a spotlight on the inspiring stories within our community and celebrate the meaningful impact Genyo e-Learning continues to make in schools across the country.
We’re excited to kick off another year of sharing best practices!
To start, we’re featuring a story from one of our educators at Batangas Eastern Colleges, Ms. Angela G. Catimbang.

In her testimonial, Ms. Catimbang shared how Genyo enables her to create comprehensive lessons that provide a well-structured learning experience for her students. One feature she especially appreciates is the ability to set prerequisites for learning activities, ensuring that students engage with each part of the lesson without missing anything along the way.

Cheers to you, Ms. Catimbang! We hope Genyo continues to support and strengthen your passion for education.

Stay tuned for more inspiring stories!

Our Story

Diwa Learning Systems Inc. (Diwa), a subsidiary of First Asia Venture Capital, is the leading provider of print and digital K-to-12 educational resources in the Philippines. Diwa is a multi-awarded and innovative provider of educational solutions with an extensive distribution network across the country. The company started when it acquired the rights to publish Bato Balani for Science and Technology, a supplementary magazine for high school students. Not long after, the company began producing Salaguinto, a counterpart science magazine for grade school students. The success of these magazines encouraged Diwa to expand its product offerings to magazines and textbooks for all the subject areas in basic education. As a response to the needs of the 21st century, Diwa started integrating Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to their products as early as 10 years ago. And in a bold and pioneering move, they have introduced their flagship digital product to Philippine schools: Genyo e-learning, the country's first fully integrated and only learning management system for basic education with content available for English, Math, Science, Filipino, and Araling Panlipunan. Today, Diwa develops all of its digital and printed products with the conscious effort to teach 21st century skills, moving from "learning how to use technology" to "using technology to learn". All of its printed resources are available in electronic format, making teaching and learning possible anytime, anywhere, and virtually on any device. Diwa's wide array of products allows the company to offer customizable solutions that make 21st century learning possible for every Philippine school.
