LOOK: Raising awareness on the right to adequate and nutritious food, the Nutri-Jingle 2025 competition was held last August 6 at the St. Ambrose Hall, featuring student-led performances centered around this year’s theme, “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority—Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!” The event was conducted as part of the school’s observance of Nutrition Month.
For the first time since the pandemic, the competition was held as an interbatch event, with sections from Grades 7 to 9 competing against one another rather than within their respective year levels.
Following a series of elimination rounds, the following sections advanced to the finals and showcased their original jingles:
Grade 7: 7A, 7B, 7I
Grade 8: 8A, 8B, 8D
Grade 9: 9A, 9B, 9F
Each group delivered a jingle performance incorporating music, lyrics, and choreography to communicate messages aligned with the event’s theme. After the final performances, the following winners were recognized:
Champion: 8D – St. Nicholas of Tolentine
1st Runner-Up: 9B – St. Monica
2nd Runner-Up: 9A – St. Alypius
3rd Runner-Up: 8B – St. Monica
The activity emphasized student engagement in advocacy through the creative arts, aligning with efforts to promote nutrition and food security as key public health concerns.
