Ngayong ika-13 ng Nobyembre, kaisa ang pamayanang Agustino sa pagdiriwang ng kaarawan ng ating minamahal na patron, si San Agustin.

Taglay ng ating pag-alala sa kanyang mga pamana, ito ay panawagang pag-alabin natin ang pintig ng pusong hindi mapapanatag hanggang makilala ang kapangyarihan ng pag-ibig at pagbabalik-loob sa Diyos.

Magbalik-tanaw at saksihan ang kuwento ng ating mahal na patron, bitbit ang panambitang tumatak sa ating mga puso at isipan ang kanyang mga aral.

TUNGHAYAN: Itinanghal ng Teatro Punlahi Senior High School (SHS) ang kanilang Opening Salvo na pinamagatang "Laan Para Sa’yo”, isang dulang hango mula sa aral ng buhay ni San Agustin kahapon, Nobyembre 7, 2025.

Sa masining na pagtatanghal, binigyang-buhay ni Christopher Avila (12D) ang kuwento ni Rafayel na hinubog ng matinding kirot sa pagkawala ni Amador, ang kanyang ama na ibinida ni Sean Santos (12A), ngunit pinalakas ng pananampalataya sa Diyos at pagmamahal ng kanyang inang si Leonora na ginampanan ni Bianca Lim (12A).

Ipinapaalala ng produksiyon na sa pagpapakumbaba at pagbabalik-loob sa Diyos, nagsisimula ang tunay na pagbabago at gabay sa pagharap ng anomang hamong kahaharapin.

TUNGHAYAN: Nasungkit ng Colegio San Agustin-Makati Girls Volleyball Team (CSA-GVT) ang kampeonato sa torneong Inter-Scholastic Sports Association (ISSA) matapos papusyawin ang ningning ng Child Jesus of Prague School (CJPS) sa 3-set sweep, 25-15, 25-14, 25-15, Oktubre 25 sa Xavier School San Juan.

Matapos ang dikdikang labanan sa ikalawang set, nanaig pa rin ang kanilang disiplina at pagkakaisa upang tuluyang masungkit ang tagumpay. Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang sama-samang determinasyon, nagawa nilang baguhin ang agos ng laro upang tuluyang magwagi sa ikatlong set.

“This is our first tournament of the school year, and the fact that we were able to win a championship, I believe that in the following tournaments to come, we’ll win more,” pahayag ni Annika Pascua (11C), CSA-GVT team captain, matapos ang kanilang kampanya sa naturang torneo.

LOOK: The Junior High School Intramurals officially kicked off on October 21, uniting Augustinians in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition.

The opening program began with each grade level proudly showcasing their Batch IDs, followed by the symbolic torch lighting that signified the official opening of the games.

Energy and enthusiasm filled the venue as each batch witnessed three action-packed matches, featuring intense rallies and dynamic performances on the hardwood courts.

From start to finish, the opening festivities captured the spirit of the Augustinian community, setting the stage for an exciting series of games in the days ahead.

TUNGHAYAN: Pinahupa ng Colegio San Agustin-Makati Girls Volleyball Team (CSA-GVT) ang siklab ng Beacon Academy (BA), 25-12, 25-14, 25-20, sa semifinals ng Inter-Scholastic Sports Association (ISSA), Oktubre 16 sa CSA Gymnasium.

Bunsod ng tagumpay, aabante ang koponan sa finals ng naturang torneo laban sa Child Jesus of Prague School (CJPS) sa Oktubre 25, dala ang mataas na kumpiyansa at determinasyong masungkit ang kampeonato.

The Junior High School Intramurals is set to open on October 21, Tuesday, with the theme “One Team, One Dream: Justice and Peace for all.”

Check out the schedule, and get ready for an exciting start to this year’s games. With three games per batch, Augustinians are set to showcase their talent in basketball and volleyball and fill the courts with energy, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

Sama-samang nanalangin ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, kawani, at mga magulang tanda ng kanilang pagkakaisa at pananampalataya. Matapos ang bawat dekada, pinangunahan ng mga piling mag-aaral ang maikling repleksyon hinggil sa buhay at pag-asa.

HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY, AUGUSTINIANS!

LOOK: In celebration of World Teachers’ Day, Colegio San Agustin–Makati held a two-day tribute for its educators on October 6 and 7, in line with the theme, “Ignition: Guided by Greatness.” The celebration aimed to honor the invaluable service of teachers who continue to guide Augustinian learners in faith, knowledge, and love.

The two-day celebration opened with a special breakfast organized by the Supreme Student Council for all teachers as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for their enduring dedication to the Augustinian mission of education.

Following this, each batch held their respective programs at the CSA Theater, featuring performances, messages, and tokens of appreciation that reflected the students’ creativity and heartfelt admiration for their mentors. These batch programs were followed by classroom celebrations, allowing the sections to express their gratitude to their advisers and co-advisers in personal and meaningful ways.

Throughout the two-day celebration, the theme’s message resonated in every gesture of thanks and tribute, serving as a reminder that teachers play a pivotal role in igniting curiosity and excellence among their students.
