Bebellykan ba? Yes, oh yes! (pag may budget na ulit 😅)
Let’s break it down,

🧀 Salame e Burrata — perfect on its own, but chef’s kiss with honey. Just a heads up: their chilli sauce isn’t really spicy, so temper those expectations lol.
🍝 Lasagna Ala Bolognese — decent, but a bit too meaty for my taste. I’m a thin-layer lasagna girlie, so this wasn’t quite my style.
🍴 Spaghetti Carbonara — loved the flavor! The plate looked huge so I got excited… then I saw the actual serving. 😅
🍮 Tiramisu Classico — okay, I need a whole separate post for this one because I have so much to say. I’d been looking forward to it the most after seeing all those unli scoop videos. We ended up ordering just a slice since we already ordered a lot, and lucky us, it was the last piece on the tray so it was a generous cut. More on my full tiramisu reaction soon! 👀

Bebellykan ba? Definitely!! Souq in San Fernando is a not-so-hidden gem that’s well worth a detour from the usual Pampanga food crawl. The slow-cooked beef kaldereta stole the show, melt-in-your-mouth tender and deeply flavorful. The pasta sa taba ng alimango was a close second; incredibly rich and indulgent, though after two plates, the creaminess caught up with me 😅 Maybe my conscience was just reminding me that the most sinful food comes at a price 🤣 Either way, no regrets.

Bebellykan ba? Absolutely, yes! Everything’s super affordable. The staff can be a bit slow, but the place is always packed so we totally get it. We’re non-traditional sisig people ourselves, so we can’t really say much, but we still devoured the OG sisig! The fried tokwa was so good we ordered a second round, and the fresh paco salad? A total winner. 🤤

Noong ika-13 ng Pebrero, naisip naming ipagdiwang ang Araw ng mga Puso upang umiwas sa inaasahan naming dagsa ng mga tao sa mga kainang patok sa mga magsing-irog.

At dahil matagal na naming pinlanong subukan ang mga putahe sa minabuti naming tumawag at kumuha ng lamesa para sa amin.

Nang kami'y dumating sa kainan ay ikinatuwa namin na hindi naman pala gaanong kadami ang mga kumakain at kami'y nakapili pa ng aming lamesa. Mabilis din kaming nilapitan ng tauhan sa establisimyento para kuhanin ang aming mga nais kainin.

Wala na kaming masabi pa kundi napakasarap! Kakaiba ang adobong inihain sa amin, at nawa'y maglaway kami sa kombinasyon ng sarsa ng adobo at sinangag. Sinabay din namin ang sarciadong sinangag sa sisig na malinamnam at may kaunting anghang. Napakalambot din ng baka na alam mong napakatagal na pinakuluan at pinalambot. Malasang malasa ang lahat ng aming putahe, kung kaya't nanghinayang kami na hindi kami kumuha ng panulak na matamis para hindi kami madaling maumay.
