│The Bureau of Customs—Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Tuesday announced the seizure of a shipment of expensive agarwood at a bonded warehouse in Pasay City.

Based on documents, the owner described the P31-million worth shipment as “Mahogany Wood Hand Carving Design” and “Pack of Dried Sibukaw Wood Sticks.”

The bureau inspected the outbound shipment, revealing it contained agarwood, a highly sought-after wood globally used in perfumery, traditional medicine, and luxury products. │via Joel Zurbano

LOOK │The Bureau of Customs (BOC) in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Airport Interdiction Unit (PDEA-AIU), intercepted a shipment containing more than P25.3 million of Ketamine, a dangerous drug, concealed in a wooden cable reel declared as “Data Cable Roll.”

| The Manila Police District (MPD) clarified on Tuesday the photo of a police service dog (PSD) of EOD and Canine Unit (DECU-MPD) that went viral on social media.

In an exclusive interview with Manila Standard, PMAJ. Philipp Ines, MPD spokesperson, explained that "EDD KOBE" came from a 15-day refresher training from May 26 to June 13, which is one of the reasons why his physique is quite slim but physically fit.

"The dog is in good condition, complete with all vaccines and vitamins. The quality of the dog foods supplied is also good," he said. | via Pot Chavez
