Môrf a Marikina City-based Alternative Rock group founded in 2022, features Erz Pelaez as the vocalist, J**s Taway as the lead guitarist, Chox Espina as the rhythm guitarist, Lawrence Anthony as the bassist, and Gio Crescini as the drummer. Their music is influenced by bands such as the Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Neck Deep, 311, and Jack White.
*How did this band get its name?��
-Initially, the band was named Butterfly Effect. Then, they decided to change due to the reason that there are a lot of bands sharing the same name, and also, it’s too long. So the band came up with something that is still connected with the Butterfly concept. Môrf, in definition, means as a change in form or character. Before, the band was just doing covers and does not have any original music to share the audience. The band then concluded that it needs to have its own original songs and that they need to change their sound. A change in music form and character, hence the name, Môrf.

*Brief history or fun facts about the band:��
-The band original members are consisted of Erz, Gio, Lawrence J**s and Elvin. Elvin was the bassist at the time but later on decided to move to the United States. The band then looked for a Guitarist as Lawrence, former guitarist of the band decided he would be the bassist. Gio then recruited Chox to the band as the Rhythm Guitarist and was able to quickly blend in. Elvin still part of the band even though he’s far away. They still communicate with each other through the bands Group Chat and bond with each other by means of music and playing Mobile Legends.��
