The highest academic degree that he obtained is a doctorate. He has strong linkages in social networks being a past Rotary Club president and a Paul Harris Fellow, a past officer of the Makati Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and a past officer of the Philippine Association of National Advertisers. He is a member of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen & Professionals - Sta. Rosa Chapter. Gerry's loves include light classical music, human development, and the sports he participated in during his younger years (motorsport driving competitions and golf).
