Sound Weavers has two (2) recording studios:

Studio 2808 is located at Unit 2808, Cityland Pasong Tamo Tower. In front of Don Bosco Makati and beside WalterMart (cor Pasong Tamo and Pasay Road). Studio 4149 is located at Ponte St., Brgy Sta. Dear diary,

Tracked electric guitars yesteday. The client requested the Marshall JCM800 head at 16ohms to the Marshall 4x12 cab.

I deployed my standard mic'ing; SM57 mic x 2, 1 on axis and 1 off-axis, to a pair os Stam 1073 preamps.

I had the amp on standby for 30 mins before he arrived so the tubes were warmed up.

The tune was pop punk ala Dookie. Kid did not use a pick. No pedals either. (both a relief, tbh).

Instead, he dialed in the sound on his Epi SG guitar (bridge pup) to the tube head. Guitar straight to amp. Good times! Rock & roll!

He was happy with the sound we were getting. Naturally, he was not satisfied with his performance. The inconsistent intonation of the guitar also affected the session.

Many other "chismis" confided, too. My lips are sealed. :-D
