CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF GRACE AND FORMATION! 🙏

Today, we joyfully mark one year since our beloved Father Formators began their mission here at the Sto. Niño Seminary. Appointed on June 30, 2024 by Most Rev. Jose Corazon T. Tala-oc, D.D., then Bishop of Kalibo, their official assignment took effect on July 25, 2024 marking the beginning of a new chapter in our seminary journey.

Thank you, dear Fathers, for your dedication to forming hearts and shaping future shepherds of the Church. Your presence is a grace, and your leadership continues to bear fruit in the lives of every seminarian.

Ad multos annos, Fathers! 💒

JULY 24 | MEMORIAL OF ST. JOHN BOSTE

One of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales. He was born at Dufton, at Westmoreland, England, and studied at Oxford. Becoming a Catholic in 1576, he went to Reims and received ordination in 1581. John went back to England where he worked in the northern parts of the kingdom and became the object of a massive manhunt. He was betrayed, arrested, and taken to London. There he was crippled on the rack and returned to Dryburn near Durham. On July 24, he was hanged, drawn, and quartered. John was canonized by Pope Paul VI in 1970 as a martyr of Durham.

Sana, habang tinitingnan natin ang larawang ito, mamulat tayo sa katotohanang hindi lahat ay may komportableng pamumuhay. May mga kapatid tayong sa gitna ng baha ay walang mapuntahan, walang masilungang ligtas at maayos. Ating ipagdasal ang kanilang kaligtasan at kapayapaan ng loob. Sana, tumila na ang ulan, hindi lang ang ulan sa langit, kundi pati ang unos ng paghihirap sa kanilang buhay.
