ABLNHS SECURES TOP 10 SPOT IN FEATURE WRITING AT DSPC 2025
Anselmo B. Legaspi National High School (ABLNHS) celebrated a remarkable achievement in feature writing during the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025, held at Banga, Aklan, on February 22.
Mariella V. Temporaza, a talented student from ABLNHS, secured a top 10 spot in the Feature Writing category.
Her outstanding achievement is a testament to the school's commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and responsible journalism.
Temporaza's coach, Mrs. Vanessa C. Tonic, demonstrated dedication to nurturing her writing talent. Other coaches, including Mrs. Nina Laine T. Tactay, Mrs. Shiela T. Tabang, and Ms. Jane Marie I. Pasion, School Paper Adviser, also played a crucial role in the student-journalists' success.
The Grain Fields, the official school publication of ABLNHS, extends its sincerest gratitude to the faculty and staff for their unwavering support and guidance.
The publication also thanks its sponsors for their generous donations of school supplies, lunch-meals, and snacks to the student-journalists.
Thanks also to Markey Nalangan, former editor-in-chief, for his return of service and help. Additionally, the publication appreciates Mr. Benjie De Justo's excellent layout of school paper and Mrs. Marecil N. Terencio, Officer-in-Charge, for ensuring the success of the school's participation in the competition.

Sabino, Ramona Jane Tumbokon, Jea Solano, Aleiah Taladtad, Mae Ann Taborda, Dar Aiken Aguiire, and Princess Lhaye Inguillo. Their participation demonstrates the school's commitment to embracing journalism as a means of upholding truth and excellence on campus and in other competitions, and real life applications.
