If you’re into the fuzzy Astrophytum asterias varieties, a good Hanazono is always a fun one to watch mature. What makes them so unique is how those random extra woolly spots keep popping up all over the body as the plant grows it’s like watching a pattern develop in real time.
Just finished getting this specimen settled into its new home. There’s honestly nothing more satisfying than that exact moment the fresh top dressing goes on and completely locks in the look.
It’s officially ready to hit the benches and soak up some sun. ☀️🌵
