A homecoming celebration for Sophia Rose Garra was held earlier today, June 2, 2025, at Rizal Hall. ✨💚

The Lasallian community proudly welcomed back the pride of Malabon and NCR following her successful stint in the recently concluded Palarong Pambansa 2025 in Laoag, Ilocos Norte.

Sophia garnered 7 gold medals in 7 swimming events in the Elementary Girls Division. With two new records under her belt, she was hailed as the Most Bemedalled and Most Outstanding Swimmer. 🥇🏆🏊‍♀️

Sophia Rose Garra, one of our talented student-athletes, has represented NCR in the 2025 Palarong Pambansa, bagging seven gold medals and shattering her previous records in the 100m backstroke event from 1:08 to 1:07, while establishing a new record in the 200m individual medley from 2:33 to 2:31.

Congratulations, Sophia! You have outdone yourself once more. All of your hard work and dedication have truly paid off. Congratulations, Coach Erick Richard Odchigue!

Our hearts go out to the families and individuals affected by the recent fire in Brgy. 81 and Brgy. Potrero. We understand that this is a difficult and uncertain time for many, and as a Lasallian community, we are called to stand in solidarity with those in need.

DLSAU is now accepting donations to support the victims of the fire. If you wish to help, you may drop off your donations at the LMFO or at Gate 2 near the chapel. Every contribution, no matter how small, can bring hope and relief to those who have lost so much.

If you know of any DLSAU students or personnel who are directly affected, please do not hesitate to inform us so we can reach out and offer the necessary support.

Together, let us respond with compassion, generosity, and the true spirit of faith and service.

On this day, May 15, we celebrate the Solemnity of St. John Baptist De La Salle, our great founder of the Lasallian school branches and the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. St. John Baptiste De La Salle was born on April 30, 1651, and died on April 7, 1719. He is known to be a patron saint for the teachers of youth, and was also baeatified in February 19, 1888 by Pope Leo XIII.
