“Anak, Ayan na ‘yung striktong teacher. Sana ‘di mo siya maging teacher.”
I've heard this before. And maybe, so have many other teachers who simply care enough to be firm.
But let me ask — ano pong mali sa pagiging striktong g**o?
Yes, there are times when I have to be strict.
Not because I enjoy raising my voice.
Not because I want to instill fear.
But because I care.
📌 I'm strict because I want them to learn discipline.
📌 I'm strict because I believe in their potential.
📌 I'm strict because inside every child is greatness — and sometimes, structure is the bridge to bring it out.
Hindi po ako strikto para pahirapan sila.
Strikto po ako kasi gusto kong matuto sila — sa oras, sa asal, at sa buhay.
Because someday, the world will not always be gentle. And I hope, when that day comes, they're strong, respectful, and ready.
So if being “strikto” means I'm doing my job with heart,
then yes — I'll wear that label with pride.
Because sometimes, the teachers they “fear” today are the ones they'll thank later.
