I'm not raising my kids to be the smartest in the room.
Not the fastest. Not the most popular.
Not the loudest, or the one who wins all the awards.

I'm raising them to be the ones who sit next to the kid who's sitting alone.
The one who stands up when they see something wrong.
The one who chooses kindness even when no one's watching.

Because being quiet is fine.
Being shy is fine.
Not knowing all the answers is fine.

But being mean?
That's not.

I don't care how talented they are...
If they aren't kind, none of it means anything.

Let's stop measuring our kids by how well they perform, and start looking at how they treat others.
Because character will always matter more than achievements.
And being a good human will always be what I'm most proud of.
