𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 🇵🇭

The Philippines’ national anthem was first heard publicly on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟮, 𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟴—the day we first gained and celebrated our independence. It was a product of revolution, born out of the need to inspire and unite the people during a time of struggle. It is an anthem that reminds us to fight for our country and its freedom.

As we mark the 𝟭𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 of our independence today, let us take a moment to remember the brave souls who fought for us, our country, and our rights—from the heroes to the ordinary citizens who dedicated their hearts for us to gain our freedom once more. Let us honor the legacy they left behind.

Dearest citizens of the Philippines, live up to the words: "𝘈𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘸 𝘯𝘪𝘺𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘢 𝘮𝘢’𝘺 ’𝘥𝘪 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘮." Do not let the light of our beloved country be taken once again. Do not let the efforts and sacrifices of our heroes go to waste.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | Malabon National High School Pupils Participated in the Regional Remediation's (RRP) Closing Program.

The RRP's closing program formally started on June 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Mrs. Rachel C. Arnaldo, Head Teacher III of the English Department, gives a warm greeting to the students. Mr. Giovanni C. Callada, SSHT III of the Math Department, then gives an inspirational speech on behalf of our Principal IV, Dr. Olivia Q. Martin.

Math and English teachers who volunteered in the said program played a crucial part in bridging the learning gaps of the learners.

After listening to their sincere remarks, students feel moved and inspired. The completers and supportive parents are excited since its time to recognize their efforts. Everyone's smiles as they accept their awards on stage convey how happy they were to have completed the program successfully.

This serves as a reminder that we all have our own phases, no matter how hard things get at the moment, it will soon lead to your own success.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | Brigada Eskwela 2025 Kicks Off at Malabon National High School with the theme: “Sama‑sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa”

The Brigada Eskwela 2025 opened at Malabon National High School yesterday, Monday, June 9, 2025, with the theme: “Sama‑sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa.” The opening ceremony began with a parade of clubs and organizations, which lined up alphabetically in two rows. The parade started promptly at 7:04 AM, passing through five streets—Naval Extension, M. Blas, Hervacio, Sta. Cruz, and Trias—and concluded exactly at 7:20 AM, lasting sixteen minutes.

Once the students returned, they took a 40- minute break while the Hiyas ng Sining Folkloric Dance Troupe performed. After the break, the program commenced with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a prayer, nationalistic song, Malabon Hymn, and Division Hymn—all led by the Himig Tambobong Chorale. Next, Dr. Olivia Q. Martin delivered the opening remarks, which was followed by the acknowledgment of participants by Mrs. Chrizaline V. Lucas, Head Teacher of AP, and the statement of purpose by Mrs. Frea M. Dela Cruz, the Brigada Eskwela 2025 Focal Person. The president of the SPTA, Mrs. Ghie Senson then gave a speech for those students who attended the Brigada Eskwela 2025.

Students from the Special Program in Foreign Language-Chinese Mandarin (SPFL-Mandarin) performed a Chinese dance. The commitment wall was then signed by Malabon City LGU officials, SDO‑Malabon officials, the school head, teaching and non‑teaching personnel, students, parents, and others. Afterward, Dr. Olivia Q. Martin officially declared Brigada Eskwela 2025 open. Mrs. Jecylin A. Santos, Head Teacher of MAPEH, expressed thanks to visitors, including alumni, the SPTA president, Kap. Arturo Balencia, and more. Finally, the SK captains delivered their speeches.

Free pandesal was provided by the Kiwanis Club, alongside PSA applications and free health check-ups. The MC also announced that Mayor Jeannie Sandoval would be distributing free school supplies and invited participation in a donation drive for students in need. Additionally, the school announced a reading program to support students struggling with literacy, reflecting the theme.

This year’s Brigada isn't just a cleaning drive; it also supports students who have difficulty reading, pairing them with fellow students for peer assistance

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡! 🏳️‍🌈

"𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘵!" "𝘉𝘢𝘬𝘭𝘢!" "𝘉𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨!" These hateful words, once used to silence people part of the LGBTQIA+ community, now fuel their fire. Narrow-minded people tried to shame them with these "jokes", but this Pride Month, we show them that those people—such as homophobics—cause them no harm. Let us show them that you are proud to be yourself, and that you are unstoppable.

This is more than just a celebration; it's a powerful movement for love, identity, and basic human rights—the right to live freely, love openly, and be a true version of oneself.

To the LGBTQIA+ community—out, questioning, or wherever you are on your journey—𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉, 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒚.

Pride comes from the bravery of continuous contention to be acknowledged and seen. It is a tribute to the honorable ones who faced the truth at times when silence would have only made things easier and continues to fight the battles today.

Let's party pride this month with the crazy lively energy of a chameleon who spreads both color and fun. We love so enthusiastically and uplift each other with kindness, solidarity, and pride.

The 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 '25 will occur on 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙚 9–13, 2025, from 8:00 𝗔𝗠 to 5:00 𝗣𝗠 with the theme: "𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮-𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗮" .

We encourage every 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿, and most importantly 𝗠𝗡𝗛𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗻 to join and take action. All clubs and organizations are invited to take part in the motorcade, the call time is set for 6:00 AM on June 9, 2025. Elections play a significant role in our daily lives—from the people who campaign for their candidates, their platforms to be presented, and promises as if it was meant to change everything. Yet, once elected in the position, those promises often conclude as just words—and remain unfulfilled, and at times, even meaningless.
‎
‎Once they are seated, they gain power. They hold power. They now have the power. They possess the authority to shape lives—to either make tomorrow a better one or to cause harm; to stand on the side of justice or to turn away from it without hesitation. The decision is up to them and that decision is one of the reasons for one of our never-ending problems: Corruption. Despite being chosen by the people, they choose to use their position not to uplift the country, but to uplift themselves. They use their position to benefit themselves.

‎As part of the younger generation and as students, we grew up witnessing this cycle repeat over and over again. It seems crazy how an election affects us, right? Everyone does get affected by it. And as part of the youth, I must say that elections can increase our knowledge and interest about politics, national issues, and the candidates—we may not be eligible to vote yet, still, doing research about the candidates and their platforms makes us more invested and aware on who they are and what more can they offer to our beloved country.

‎We, the youth, have the voices. We have the right to believe, to question, and to stand for what we think is right. Thus, election is not just an election for the youth—it shows unity, democratic participation, and the power of the people.

𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘆 is celebrated in many countries throughout the world. It is recognized every second Sunday of May. It originated in the United States and was established by Anna Tarvis who wanted to honor her mother.

We celebrate mother's day to 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 the hard work, selfless sacrifices, sleepless nights, and effort that mothers put in their family and society. Mothers play a major role in helping shape children's future by giving unconditional love and unwavering support.

We can celebrate this moment in any way, whether by greeting them, expressing gratitude, giving gifts, or simply spending quality time with them. A simple act of love and appreciation towards them can make their day.

Cartoonists with their talent and passion for art have created illustrations called cartoons and they have brought us entertainment— in ways such as animations that present humour through characters or in posters, where the addition of cartoons can make it more eye-catching.

Through these cartoons, many are inspired to create, read, watch, and learn. Let us appreciate the talent and effort of our dear cartoonists and have this encourage us to promote and support the cartooning industry.

This day also acts as a reminder to the 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 about their solemn promise to protect press freedom: information published by journalists that they cannot restrict.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗮𝘆 gives a chance to journalists to study issues and investigate inside the government 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. They 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 everything just to inform the public about the 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐲 also gives honour to those reporters and journalists who have lost their lives while studying a certain matter.

𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 and give this day to our journalists who give us 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏; those individuals who 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 to reality.

Many countries worldwide celebrate on the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 day of 𝗠𝗮𝘆. It is also known as 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆. This day is dedicated to every 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 inside and outside of the country who contributes to the country's economic and social growth as a show of appreciation for all their hard work.

The local commemoration on the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 of 𝗠𝗮𝘆 started in 𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟯. The workers, organized by the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮 (UODF) protested the inhumane working environment and demanded 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. From then on, every “𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮” celebration is an 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 for 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀.

𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 this day for each and every worker out there. 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝑫𝒂𝒚!
