Typhoon Leon has rapidly intensified over the waters east of Cagayan and is expected to move northwestward, possibly impacting Taiwan and northern areas of the Philippines by October 31. The highest wind signal may reach Signal No. 3 or 4 in Batanes and Babuyan Islands, with Signal No. 5 possible.

🌧️ UPDATE: Bagyong Kristine (Trami) Lumabas na sa PAR pero Maaaring Bumalik sa Pilipinas 🌧️

Ayon sa PAGASA, tuluyan nang lumabas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ang Bagyong Kristine ngayong 2:00 PM, October 25, at nasa layong 410 km kanluran ng Sinait, Ilocos Sur. Ngunit may posibilidad na bumalik ito sa bansa ngayong weekend sa West Philippine Sea.

⚠️ Babala ng PAGASA:

Ang LPA na nasa 2,295 km silangan ng northeastern Mindanao ay may malaking tsansang maging tropical depression at tatawaging "Leon" kapag pumasok ito sa PAR. Kapag lumakas, posibleng magdulot ito ng karagdagang pag-ulan sa Luzon.

💡 Paalala: Manatiling nakaantabay sa mga anunsyo ng PAGASA at maghanda laban sa posibleng pagbaha at landslide.

PAGASA: LPA sa labas ng PAR, isa nang tropical depression

Ang low-pressure area (LPA) sa silangan ng hilagang-silangang Mindanao ay naging isang tropical depression sa labas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Ayon sa social media post ng PAGASA pasado alas-10 ng gabi, ang LPA na nasa 2,405 km silangan ng hilagang-silangang Mindanao ay naging tropical depression dakong alas-8 ng gabi. Namataan ito na may lakas ng hangin na aabot sa 55 kph malapit sa gitna at bugso ng hangin na hanggang 70 kph.
