8 things I’d 100% recommend doing when visiting Korea 🇰🇷🥹🙏🏽

📍1. Insadong Culture Street 인사동 문화의거리 🇰🇷
One of my favourite places to slow down in Seoul 🥹✨ Walk through the charming streets, browse traditional shops, explore art spaces, and stop by a tea house for a proper Korean tea experience!
🍵 Namusae Tea House 나무새찻집, genuinely some of the best tea I’ve ever had!
🎨 Tong-In Hwarang 통인화랑 a multi-level art space with galleries, crafts & a café, with exhibitions featuring local and international artists.
Definitely worth adding to your Seoul itinerary! 🇰🇷
📍2. Gyeongbokgung Palace 경복궁
Of course, you can’t visit Seoul without coming here! 🥹✨ One of Korea’s most iconic landmarks, and honestly even more beautiful in person.
Walk around the palace grounds, admire the traditional architecture, and if you have time, rent a hanbok for the full experience 👘🇰🇷
Definitely a must-visit on your first Korea trip!
3. DMZ tour!
One of the most fascinating experiences I had in Korea. 💯 It’s more than just a tourist spot, being so close to the North Korean border and learning about the history and division of the peninsula makes the experience feel very real.
You’ll visit places like the tunnels, viewpoints, and the famous suspension bridge. Definitely one for the history buffs! 👀
📍4. Gwangjang Market 광장시장 🥟🇰🇷
Come hungry because this place is basically a food paradise! 😂🇰🇷 although people say it’s a bit pricey here compared to other places but girl! Be a tourist and it’s totally okay!
🥟 Pork & kimchi dumplings, MUST try at Gohyang Kalguksu (the famous “Auntie” from Netflix 👀) stall no. 70!
🥓 Samgyeopsal ofcourse always a good idea!
🐙 Live octopus (산낙지 / sannakji) if you’re feeling adventurous, you have to try it! - will never try this again as it felt really weird on my mouth, they’re fighting back! 😂
Go hungry, wander around, and just eat your way through the market!
