After almost two decades of tweets, trends, and shared momentsโ€”Twitter says goodbye.
Mula pa noong March 2006, naging tahanan ito ng balita, opinyon, katuwaan, ug koneksyon.
Ngayon, Twitter.com is officially closed.

Kitang mga tao may hangganan.
Si Twitter, nga kauban nato sa mga diskurso ug kasaysayan,
karong Nobyembre 10, mipahulay na.

The bird that once soared with every hashtag now fades into silence.
Ang mga tweet nga imong gi-share, gi-like, gi-replyโ€”nahimong memorya.
Ang mga thread nga nagsugod sa โ€œI donโ€™t usually do this butโ€ฆโ€โ€”wala na.
Ang mga reply nga โ€œThis!โ€ ug โ€œMood.โ€โ€”nahimong alaala.

Twitterโ€™s Final Tweet: A Goodbye Full of Memories.

Twitter was never just an app. It was a diary, a protest, a punchline, a hug.
Ngayon, tahimik na ang tinig niya. Pero ang mga koneksyon nga iyang gitukodโ€”padayon pa.

โ€œThis is my last tweet. Thank you for the memories.

Paalam, Twitter.
You gave us chaos, clarity, and connection.
Now, we tweet in silence.

From emergency delays to immediate responseโ€”Bukidnon begins a new chapter in public safety

๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ has officially received three vials of anti-venom vaccine, turned over by Councilor Jayson Chad Ayala. This marks a critical step in strengthening the cityโ€™s emergency response against snakebite incidents and venom-related risksโ€”especially in remote and high-risk areas where medical help is often out of reach.

Councilor Karen Gamolo expressed her gratitude for Ayalaโ€™s initiative, emphasizing the importance of having anti-venom supplies locally available. โ€œThis isnโ€™t just medicineโ€”itโ€™s protection for lives that would otherwise be lost,โ€ she said.

For years, many in Bukidnon died from venomous snakebites simply because no anti-venom vaccine was available. Victims had to be rushed to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro a journey that was long, risky, and often too late.

But thanks to the initiative of Malaybalay City Councilor Ayala and City Mayor Atty. Warren Pabillaran, anti-venom vaccines are now available in Malaybalay Cityโ€”the first in the entire province. Valencia City follows as the next location, signaling a growing commitment to local preparedness and public health.

This isnโ€™t just a medical breakthroughโ€”itโ€™s a moral one. It reflects a shift from helplessness to hope, from distant referrals to direct response. May this be the beginning of a province-wide movement to equip every barangay with the tools to protect, respond, and save lives.

VALENCIA CITY, BUKIDNONโ€” A 29-year-old single man with a live-in partner was gunned down in cold blood late Wednesday morning, October 30, 2025, in Purok 2, Barangay Kahaponan.

The victim, a former lending collector and resident of San Martin, Malaybalay City, was identified by authorities but his name is withheld pending full investigation. The alleged gunman, known only by the alias Ronron, fled the scene aboard an XRM motorcycle, heading toward an unknown direction.

Police Response & Scene Details

Valencia city Police Station has launched a hot pursuit operation to track down the suspect, who remains at large.

According to Rose, the victimโ€™s live-in partner, rumors that he tried to grab the suspectโ€™s weapon are false. Tearfully, she recounted begging the gunman: Please donโ€™t kill my husband, sir. He has nothing to do with this. Our baby is just three months oldโ€”how will we survive?โ€

The victim, already hit twice, reportedly pleaded:
โ€œPlease, sir, Iโ€™ve had enough. Iโ€™m not involved in the rice fields or the quarry.โ€

In a chilling twist, Rose is the daughter of one of two victims shot dead last month in nearby Barangay Vintarโ€”just next to Kahaponan.
The victimโ€™s family and partner are crying out for justice, calling on authorities to act swiftly and decisively.

Millions Daily Losses Businesses, Students, and Medical Services Disrupted by Bukidnon-Davao Road Closure

Municipality of Quezon, Bukidnon
An estimated 1M in daily losses is being incurred by businesses in Quezon and nearby areas such as Misamis Oriental following the collapse of a road section in Sitio Kipulot, Palacapao on October 18, 2025. The damaged portion of the Bukidnon-Davao Road is now impassable to all types of vehicles.

In a press conference led by Mayor Pablo "Poling" Lorenzo III, he revealed that the impact goes beyond Quezonโ€™s local economy, affecting trade across various parts of Mindanao. Several business owners have reached out to inquire about the roadโ€™s condition, citing significant losses in their operations.

Bukidnon Governor Rogelio Neil Roque also disclosed that the Chamber of Commerce from Misamis Oriental and other provinces has raised complaints due to millions in lost revenue, as products can no longer reach Davao City.

Aside from business disruptions, students and patients needing transport to Davao City are also affected. The local government is now urging the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to expedite the construction of a proposed detour road to resolve the transportation crisis.

According to Mayor Lorenzo, they cannot afford to wait five months to resolve the issue, as the supply chain across the region is already affected. He emphasized that the Davao-Bukidnon Road plays a vital role in Mindanaoโ€™s economy, and must be treated as a priority.
