Just because maraming gumagawa doesn’t mean it’s okay or should be normalized. Sa iba, baka kaya nilang palagpasin, pero kung sayo nakaka-apekto na emotionally and mentally, valid yan.

Being the older sister is not easy.
You are the one who leads,
gives the most, and carries the burdens that no one else wants.

You are the steady support for everyone, yet people only seem to respect you when they need something.
It’s exhausting and can make you wonder if what you do, how you care, or just being there is ever enough.

It hurts even more
when the advice you give,
honest, protective, and full of love
is taken the wrong way or ignored.
You do your best as an older sister,
but when emotions run high, you become the easiest target.

Still, you stay. That’s what older sisters do,they stay, they show up, and they love, even when they are overlooked or pushed aside again and again.

If you’re texting someone else who wouldn’t be comfortable with you, that’s cheating.

If you cleared your browsing history on your phone because you didn’t want your spouse to see what you were looking at… that’s cheating.

If you started entertaining someone else who isn’t your significant other, that’s cheating.

If you started adding random people on social media because you thought they looked attractive in their profile picture, that’s cheating.

If you’re flirting with someone other than the person you’re in a relationship with, that’s cheating.

If you’re in a relationship right now and unfortunately go through these patterns… you’re only going to continue downhill in the near future.

Take my advice and remember… you can’t build a kingdom with someone who’s still craving attention from the village.”
