I used to try so hard to be perfect at everything. Specially in my studies and in everything I do, I wanted to do it all perfectly. I got so worried about messing up that I often didn't even try. It made me stressed and unhappy. I was so focused on the end goal that I forgot to enjoy the journey.
Then I realized it's better to focus on progress, not perfection. It wasn't a sudden change, but a gradual shift in how I thought. I started to see that small steps forward were just as important as finishing something perfectly. I began to celebrate my effort and what I learned, even when I made mistakes. It wasn't about being perfect; it was about getting better.
I shared this because I think many of us feels the pressure to be perfect. We forget to enjoy the journey and celebrate our growth. It's okay to make mistakes. The real win is making progress, enjoying the journey, and accepting our own unique path, even if it's not perfect.
Slow down, you crazy child..
Remember, PROGRESS Leads to PERFECTION
