The in-person General Assembly on the establishment of Liga ng Indio-Pilipinong Ideal (LIPI) aiming to build bridges amongst the youth in various forms of the Filipino spectrum shall be held within this month.
This organization shall be known as a league of nation-building Filipinos that uphold the true values of what makes our nation great.
We re-claim the colonialist term of “Indio” as our own, supporting the premise of preserving our roots as “natives” of our land, while being careful against any harmful foreign influences.
The various levels of youth radicalism and adherence to irony, satire, and dark humour, are integral parts of our generation, which we seek to address and celebrate, in our ways of engaging in political discourse.
This is done through our page Indiots which is dedicated to be an outlet in such a component of our cause.
Ideals and intellectualism, along with collaboration with credible institutions, is a core component of our operations, as we push for the goal, of uniting the Filipino for a better Philippines.
Serving as a hub for cross-ideological dialogue and coordination, between the left and right, is a core component of our goals.
Rejection of centrism and most predispositions that can be perceived as “sitting on the fence” is a highlight of what we’re trying to do.
Action, service, and advancing the progress of the community, while preserving and respecting culture and established society, are to be main areas of focus and interest for the group.
Addressing issues and needs that the country faces, in relevance to the youth, from the areas of education, labour, livelihood, and business enterprise, shall be our sectoral focus.
Conflict resolution and partnership amongst opposing sides of any political, ideological, social, or even religious spectrums, is highly considered to be an indispensable activity that we wish to involve ourselves in.
In preservation and alignment to our established community and cultural values as Filipinos, we recognize the primacy of the Catholic Faith, and strive to adhere by such principles in our efforts of charity and cooperation, towards all peoples of any race, colour, gender, or creed.
However, the astute rejection and opposition to cultic groups and “faiths” in the country, that scam and defraud the Filipino people, is recognized as a threat to the peaceful, productive, and cultural lives of every citizen.
This group aims to bring together the country’s top intellectuals and thinkers of the next generations, nation builders, and those who love the country, to form a movement that will bring down walls, build bridges, act, and address all the challenges of the Philippines, by making concrete impact, from policy lobbying, social services, education, civic movements, and establishing connections.
