ICYMI: Several BulSUans took the spotlight and shined like a star as they proudly showcased their exceptional talents in Nova Production’s BulSUans Got Talent themed “Chase the Light, Become a Star”, which was held at the Valencia Hall, March 18, 2026.

Spectacular and impactful performances were shown by many students with different capabilities and gifts of their own, whether as solo or as a group. Wonderful stories were told as every song, dance, and any form of art were performed on stage.

The fun doesn’t end as Christine Samson was invited as a special guest that brought energy not only on the venue but to the audience and the talented individuals as well. Not only the famous public figure made the stage lively as BulSU Saring Himig Chorale, BulSU Lahing Kayumanggi Dance Troupe, and Tiger Acoustic and Rhythm Alliance (TARA) were the event’s special guest performers. Lastly, a lot of their sponsors added more enthusiastic spirit as varieties of services and products were catered.

The magnificent event wrapped up as they award and recognize everyone’s greatness, especially of the outstanding ones with Fury Beatbox bagged the Championship, while Tanghalang Panday Sining, Regh Jilliane are 1st and 2nd runner-ups while Regh also got the Crowd Choice Award. | via Keisha Tenorio, THE SIZZLERS

ICYMI: To showcase their skills, creativity and teamwork in a fun and competitive activity, tourism management (TM) students from College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM), compete in Airport Olympics held at Bulacan State University (BulSU) E-Library 7th Floor Multifunction Hall on March 18.

The event is successfully organized by ACES PRODUCTIONS as part of BSTM 3A MICE, which featured a series of interactive games and challenges designed to test their knowledge, critical-thinking skills and teamwork namely, 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝐌𝐘𝐁) - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐈𝐧, 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 (𝐂𝐂𝐂), 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥 (𝐓𝐀𝐏) - 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

The panel of judges was composed of Dr. Aimee Grace Madlangbayan, Dr. Cindy Dela Cruz-Ochoa, and Mr. Jericho Victor Dela Cruz.

Following the deliberation, three teams were recognized for their outstanding performances. The Gold Placer was given to Banyuhay Airline from BSTM 2B, followed by Horizon Sky Express from BSTM 2D as the Silver Placer, and FlyHigh Airlines from BSTM 2F as the Bronze Placer.

ICYMI: The spirit of tourism came alive as Turismolympics 2026 officially unfolded with the theme "Finding the Missing Piece" bringing together aspiring tourism professionals in a dynamic celebration of creativity, skill, and passion held at the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) 4th Floor Audio Visual Room (AVR) on March 16-17.

Tourismolympics is spearheaded by Federation of Accelerating Students of Tourism (FAST ) and participants showcased their abilities through three exciting sub-events. The Mosaic of Destinations: Tour Guiding Competition, LUMEN: Tourism Brochure Making Competition and The Lens of Discovery: Travel Vlog Making Competition.

JUST IN | Pagsasagawa ng synchronous online class at Work From Home (WFH) arrangements mula Marso 30 hanggang Abril 1, ibinaba ng Bulacan State University (BulSU) Office of the University President alinsunod sa Office Memorandum No. 21, Series of 2026 at Memorandum Circular No. 114 para sa energy conservation, ngayong Miyerkules, Marso 25.

Bagamat online modality, inaanyayahan ang mga frontline offices na magkaroon ng skeleton workforce upang masiguro at maipagpatuloy ang kanilang serbisyo para sa petsang Marso 30 hanggang 31.

Para naman sa ika-1 ng Abril, mariing isinaad ang Full Work-From-Home na nangangahulugang lahat ng transaksyon ay maaari lamang isagawa online.

LOOK: In order to value timelines, compassion, adaptability, and humanity. Third year students of College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) actively participated in “PAGPAPAALAB: Value Reinforcement Talks” held at Bulacan State University (BulSU) Valencia Hall on Wednesday, March 25.

Along with CHTM, other BulSU colleges such as College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP), College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA), and College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) also participated in the two-day program.

JUST IN | Terrence De Guzman of BulSUONE (B1) has officially secured the gubernatorial seat this evening, alongside his running mate, Katherine Bantog, who claimed the vice gubernatorial position.

Running unopposed in the 2026 elections, De Guzman garnered 418 votes, with 153 abstentions recorded. Meanwhile, Bantog earned 324 votes, accompanied by 247 abstain votes.

The following are the winners that will hold the board member positions for the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management:

Brian Viloria from KASAMA, Tourism Management Board Member, received a total of 262 votes.
Princess Muring from B1, Tourism Management Board Member, received a total of 161 votes.
Joannah Alvarez from B1, Hospitality Management Board Member, received a total of 111 votes. and,
Dhaniel Suerte Felipe from B1, Hospitality Management Board Member, received a total of 110 votes.

For the Supreme Student Council, Iesu Cruz from KASAMA BulSU & Jerolbe Capule from B1 officialy secured the Presidential and Vice Presidential position. Tally shows that Cruz received 10,997 votes and Capule with 9,834 votes.

TINGAN | Bilang ng mga botanteng estudyante ng College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) para sa pakikilahok sa Student Government Elections (SGE) 2026 sa pamamagitan ng TAPAT website, ngayong Huwebes, Marso 19.

Sa kasalukuyan, nasa 517 o 19% pa lamang ng mga CHTM students ang tapos nang bumoto sa kabuuang bilang ng registered voters na 2,205.

Mula sa Hospitality Management (HM) students, tinatayang nasa 16.08% pa lamang ang nakakaboto habang sa Tourism Management (TM) students naman ay 33.09%.

SIZZLINGAN 2026 | Sa nalalabing dalawang oras bago matapos ang eleksyon, ating alamin ang mga naging sagot ng mga tumatakbo bilang lokal na konseho ng Kolehiyo ng Hospitalidad at Turismo mula sa dalawang partido, BulSUONE (B1) at Katipunan Student Movement (KASAMA), noong naganap na Sizzlingan para sa taong 2026, na ginanap noong Marso 13 sa CHTM grounds.

Sa segmentong ito, tinukoy ang kanilang pagsang-ayon o pagtanggi sa iba't ibang napapanahong isyung panlipunan, gamit ang pigura na “like” at “dislike”
