EYES HERE, MAGNATES!

Bulacan State University (BulSU) students gathered at Heroes’ Park earlier today as college-based student bands lit up the stage at ALAB FEST 2025: BulSUans’ Bazaar and Busking Fair, one of the standout events of this year’s University Foundation Week celebration.

Bands representing various colleges took turns performing, drawing waves of students who stopped by to enjoy original pieces, refreshing covers, and genre-spanning sets prepared for the festival. Organized by the BulSU Student Government, the day-long program featured continuous performances from homegrown campus talents, turning the park into a lively pocket of music and student culture.

October 9, 2025 — The Society of Young Entrepreneurs (SYE) successfully held its General Assembly and Induction 2025 with the theme “Pushing Beyond Boundaries.”

The event featured inspiring messages from Mr. Allan James Juroc Dungca, exciting performances, and the induction of the SYE Executive Board XVII. Fun icebreakers, raffles, and special segments added energy throughout the program.

Led by project heads John Christian Santos, Harmond Neil Santos, and Karrian Magboo, the event celebrated collaboration, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit among students of the College of Business Education and Accountancy.

LOOK: CBEA Welcomes Freshmen Through “Sakay sa Byaheng Tagumpay” Orientation 2025

Bulacan State University, October 2, 2025 — The College of Business Education and Accountancy (CBEA) officially kicked off its annual freshmen orientation program, “Sakay sa Byaheng Tagumpay: CBEA Freshies Orientation 2025,” at the BulSU E-Library Amphitheater.

Organized by the CBEA Local Student Council for the academic year 2025–2026, the event aimed to welcome and guide first-year students from BS Entrepreneurship and BSBA (Sections A & B ) as they begin their collegiate journey.

The program featured a series of presentations, including the introduction of the College Local Administrative Council, faculty members, and student organizations. Dean Dr. Gualberto A. Magdaraog and Associate Dean Mr. Naz Eliseo Carcosia led the discussions on CBEA’s vision, academic regulations, and student opportunities.

Adding excitement to the event,The Magnates Band delivered lively intermission performances, while various academic, political, and non-academic organizations were introduced to the freshmen to help them explore future engagements and opportunities within the college.

The orientation served not only as a warm welcome but also as an avenue for students to familiarize themselves with the college’s programs, organizations, and policies, fostering a sense of belonging within the CBEA community.

Students and youth organizations gathered today at Bulacan State University (BulSU) Heroes’ Park for the “Kick Back Kontra Korap” protest against corruption in politics.

Speakers included representatives from BulSU Student Government, Anakbayan, Kasama BulSU, BulSU One, BulSU Bahaghari, Akbayan, the Student Council Alliance of the Philippines, the BulSU College of Arts and Letters, Atty. Renee Co of Kabataan Partylist, and the Catholic Church.

The assembly was followed by a march to Malolos City Hall and the office of Cong. Danny Domingo, ending with a program at City Walk.

The Society of Young Entrepreneurs - Bulacan State University proudly hosted “Pathways & Possibilities: Specialized Tracks Demystified” last Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the BulSU E-Library Function Hall, 7th Floor.

The event brought together 2nd Year Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship students as they explored practical knowledge about specialized tracks and on-the-job training (OJT) opportunities. It aimed to prepare them for future academic growth and professional pursuits by providing relevant insights and real-world perspectives.

The program featured testimonial talks on Agribusiness delivered by Ms. Melba Dizon and on Franchising shared by Mr. Paulo Quetua, alongside interactive segments, engaging icebreakers, and a special live performance by the Magnates Band. Students were also encouraged to reflect and share their insights, fostering a collaborative and engaging learning atmosphere.

With the support of BulSU leaders, partners, and media collaborators, the event successfully highlighted the importance of bridging classroom learning with real-world entrepreneurial experiences. Through this initiative, SYE reaffirmed its commitment to guiding aspiring entrepreneurs toward diverse career pathways and possibilities.
