BatStateU, The NEU JPLPC - Malvar Campus had held their annual celebration of honoring the studentsโ completion of their respective programs, and claiming their diplomas which now testifies to their identity as alumni of the university last July 31.
In a momentous celebration, degrees were conferred upon 1,550 students, with their families and university officials in attendance to witness their transition from academia to professional life.
Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, the University President, together with esteemed guest speakers Mr. Clifford M. Academia, Vice President for Operations of Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates, and Director Carmel P. Matabang, Region IV-A Director of Department of Economy, Planning, and Development, had imparted words of wisdom and advice that the alumni may heed as they embark for their careers.
Other notable speakers include Ms. Aira Joy P. Tapia, BS in Information Technology major in Business Analytics, Magna Cum Laude, and Mr. Rohvic G. Batalon, BS in Tourism Management, Summa Cum Laude, who delivered messages of gratitudeโnarrating not only their heartfelt sentiments, but those which their fellow graduates had shared.
Though graduation marks an end of a long journey, it also opens a new path; one that these now young professionals would traverse while carrying the spirit of a Red Spartanโcommitted to leading innovations, transforming lives, and building the nation.
