This holiday season, in their pursuit to advocate for environmental sustainability and promote proper recycling and waste segregation, the Rotary Club of Malvar spearheaded a parol-making contest with the theme "Recycle Para sa Pasko, Parol na Panalo," on December 11 at Carlitos Resort Brgy. Luta Sur, Malvar.

Participants from the fifteen barangays of Malvar brought lanterns crafted from recyclable materials, highlighting both their creativity and love for the environment.

Meanwhile, Jeremie S. Lo, "HeartWorking" District Governor, together with the barangay council members, graced the event, along with the Club's President, Mr. Carlito M. Reyes Jr.

Future educators gathered for the Teaching Internship Seminar under the theme โ€œFrom Campus to Classroom: Empowering Future Teachers for Professional Practice,โ€ spearheaded by the fourth-year pre-service teachers from the College of Teacher Education (CTE) at the BatStateU Malvar Gymnasium, December 2.

Guided by Dr. Ronald V. Ramilo, guest speaker, the seminar featured lectures on teaching internship essentials, covering professionalism, classroom presence, and collaboration, and embracing educational reforms, highlighting the K-12 program, MATATAG Curriculum, and current education policies.

Being a Filipino can feel heavy, especially when corruption and injustices dim our hopes. Yet remembering Andres Bonifacio reminds us of the courage rooted in our history. His deep love for the nation, even in hardships, is the same strength that continues to push us forward.

As we commemorate his legacy, may we carry forward his fiery passion for truth in our own battles. With grit honed by harsh trials, Batangas State University โ€“ The National Engineering University stormed into the 28th Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) Olympics like a rising force of destiny, clinching a strong fourth runner-up finish and commanding the arena with a presence no eye could ignore and no heart could forget.

Amid the roar of over 2,000 athletes from 12 Southern Tagalog SUCs, BatStateUโ€™s 85-member delegation emerged with a staggering total of 39 medals (37 golds and 2 bronzes).

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) launched Criminology Day 2025 in celebration of Proclamation No. 397, or โ€œPhilippine Criminology Week,โ€ with the theme โ€œAs One in Criminology, We Serve and Stand with Camaraderieโ€ on November 27.

Guided by the Association of Future Criminologists (AFC), BS Criminology studentsโ€”organized into 20 color groups, took part in Palarong Pinoy competitions that highlighted teamwork, discipline, and unity.

Fueling the excitement and energy, Villar and De Grano were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Criminology 2025, marking a vibrant highlight of the celebration.
