PALARO SA AGSUR PUSHES THROUGH

SPORTS UPDATE: It is still all systems go for the upcoming 2026 Palarong Pambansa set to be held this May in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, per an official statement by the national secretariat.

This debunks several posts online claiming that the national games have been cancelled, especially amid the nationwide energy crisis due to the conflict in the Middle East.

It clarified, however, that only the “in-person conduct” of the Organizational Planning and First Technical Conference was converted to a virtual event.

Bilang magulang, hindi ko goal na pilitin ang anak ko na maging honor student. Oo, masarap sa pakiramdam ang may medal, pero mas importante sa akin na okay siya — mentally and emotionally.

Sa panahon ngayon, ang mga GenZ madaling ma-pressure at minsan nagiging dahilan pa ito ng stress at depression. Minsan konting pagkakamali, feeling nila kulang na sila.

Ayoko maramdaman ng anak ko yun. Gusto ko, lumaki siya na confident, hindi takot magkamali.

Mas gusto kong matuto siya nang may saya, hindi dahil sa takot o pressure. Lagi kong sinasabi sa kanya: “Enjoy mo lang ang pag-aaral, gawin mo ang best mo, at okay na ako doon.”

Because at the end of the day, hindi grades ang sukatan ng pagkatao. ❤️
