ICYMI | Mayor Atty. Government Agencies Now Serving at Capitol Evacuation Center

MAMBURAO, Occidental Mindoro — Residents are encouraged to visit the Capitol Evacuation Center this Saturday morning, where multiple government agencies are actively providing free services to the public, September 13.

Present on-site are the Department of Agriculture (DA) offering Kadiwa rice at ₱20.00 per kilo, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) assisting with National ID and birth registration, Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), PhilHealth, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Mamburao’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO), and others.

These services are part of the ongoing Serbisyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat initiative of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., in partnership with the Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro.

‘Serbisyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat’ Rolls Out in Occidental Mindoro

MAMBURAO, Occidental Mindoro — Serbisyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat, the flagship outreach program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., rolls out this Saturday morning, September 13, at the Provincial Capitol Training Center, bringing together multiple government agencies for a unified service caravan.

Beneficiaries begin lining up early as free medical and dental consultations, laboratory services, glucose screening, urine analysis, CBC, and x-ray procedures are made available.

Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro | September 13, 2025. The Mpdo Tpmed Mamburao is currently coordinating with personnel from the Provincial Government to strengthen operational readiness. Uniformed personnel—including the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Mamburao Municipal Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO)—are also on alert status.

Mamburao LGU Announces Series of Public Health and Welfare Gains

MAMBURAO, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO — Mayor Atty. EK Almero announced a series of public service gains this week, highlighting improved access to health transport, digital tools for frontline workers, and expanded medical outreach.

The Municipality of Mamburao has secured free passage for its ambulance and patient transport vehicle aboard the Isla Simara vessel. The arrangement, made through coordination with Island Water, will be formalized through a forthcoming Memorandum of Agreement.

In support of the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP), selected Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs) received tablets to aid in the collection of Household Convergence Score Cards. The initiative aims to streamline nutrition data gathering and improve service delivery.

More than 635 residents benefited from a recent free eye examination program. According to the mayor, those requiring surgical intervention may also receive free eye operations, subject to medical assessment and program availability.

Meanwhile, the municipal government released a three-month allowance for BHWs and BNSs, fulfilling its commitment to support grassroots health workers. The payout was sourced from local government funds.

Mayor Almero expressed gratitude for the continued strength and unity of the community, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to responsive governance and inclusive public service.

Solar-Powered Irrigation Project in Magsaysay Inspected by DA Engineers

MAGSAYSAY, Occidental Mindoro — On September 3, representatives from the Department of Agriculture–Regional Agricultural Engineering Division, led by Engr. Mark Jonan Galicia and Agricultural Technician Freddie Sabado, conducted a site monitoring of the ongoing construction of the Lourdes Solar-Powered Irrigation System.

The project, implemented in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office, aims to enhance water access for local farmers while promoting sustainable and cost-efficient agricultural practices.

Solar-powered irrigation systems offer multiple advantages, including reduced dependence on fossil fuels, lower operational costs, and improved resilience against power outages. By harnessing renewable energy, the system supports year-round farming and contributes to climate-smart agriculture in upland and off-grid areas.

The initiative forms part of the national campaign to modernize and strengthen rural farming communities.

Real Estate Tax Amnesty Campaign pushed

MAMBURAO, Occidental Mindoro — As part of its intensified implementation of the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA), or Republic Act 12001, the Municipal Treasurer’s Office conducted a house-to-house tax campaign and business inspection last Monday, September 8.

The campaign aims to inform property owners of their outstanding real estate taxes and encourage them to avail of the ongoing tax amnesty program, which allows full or partial payments without interest. Notices of Delinquency are being issued to owners of both movable and immovable properties with unpaid dues from previous years up to 2025.

The amnesty period runs until July 5, 2026. Property owners are urged to take advantage of this opportunity and visit the Treasurer’s Office at the Municipal Building for assistance and clarification.
