Addition Hills Integrated School community warmly welcomed its new pillar, Principal III Roderick R. Mendiola as it bid a heartfelt farewell to the first father of AHIS, Principal I Joseph V. Alegre during the Turn-over Ceremony at the Conference Hall on Tuesday.

After a two-year hiatus in producing quality publications, Hilltop Views as official English school paper of Addition Hills Integrated School (AHIS) bounced back with a podium finish in the recently concluded Awarding Ceremony of School Paper Contests in the 2025 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) at St. Paul College, Parañaque City on Friday.

MARKING another history for Addition Hills Integrated, AHIS young historians were hailed once again as champion in the 2024 Araling Panlipunan Division Festival of Talents (AP DFOT) held at the Mataas na Paaralang Neptali A Gonzales (MPNAG) on Monday.

The team of Perlyn Mae Canceran, Grade 7; Reneia Julia Pilola, Grade 8; Trisha Mae Gabay, Grade 9; and Jenashi Kate B. Chua, Grade 10 will banner the SDO Mandaluyong in the anticipated Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) as they snagged the first place in the ASEAN Quiz Bee.

According to their coach Ms. Genevieve Evangelista, rigid training and preparation is a must especially now that they are gearing up for the regional competition.

"I see to it po na ready ang materials ng mga bata, then follow up na dapat ma-Q and A (question and answer) ko sila bago umuwi to test if meron po sila natutunan sa binasa nila," Evangelista added.

During the regular Friday flag retreat, Addition Hills Integrated School (AHIS) community grieved for the loss of its one member.

Mr. Rodel Lontayao, a dedicated Grade 10 teacher has passed away Thursday noon.

Fellow teachers headed by the school principal, Mr. Joseph Alegre wore black to express grief in his passing and one with the bereaved family who are in mourning.

After a month of the opening of classes for school year 2024-2025, Addition Hills Integrated School organized the First Professional Meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

This conference focused on rekindling the passion of teachers and keeping the fire burning in the field of this noble profession.

School Head, Mr. Joseph Alegre emphasized the importance of leadership among teachers and keeping the passion to teach to all AHISians.

"Every teacher has the power to lead, and believe that every learner has the future to be a leader," said Alegre.

Moreover, the meeting was full of learning and take away as the three resource speakers shared their knowledge and expertise on their assigned topic.

Mr. LA Abrena Jr. had a fun but deep talk on 'How does Spirituality Affect our Lives as Teachers', Mr. Ricky Montaño gave a meaningful discussion on 'Leadership in the Lens of Teaching and Learning', while Mr. Arcy Dela Cruz shared his views on 'Professional Teachers'.

To ensure the readiness of the school community for the opening of classes on Monday, Addition Hills Integrated School (AHIS) launched an online Parents' Orientation on Saturday, July 27.

"With only two days left before the new school year starts, we would like to make sure that everything is set and ready for our students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders," said Mr. Joseph Alegre, School Principal I.

Alegre also highlighted the importance of cooperation among stakeholders ensuring the safety and protection of the learners, as well as the teachers.

This virtual meeting familiarized the parents of the school policies and guidelines in the implementation of School Year 2024-2025.

Meanwhile, part of the agenda was the introduction of new administration staff, class advisers and subject teachers, class schedule, and the entrance/exit of learners.

In preparation for the class opening of the school year 2024-2025, Addition Hills Integrated School launched the 2024 Brigada Eskwela on Monday, July 22.

This year's theme highlighted the power of partnership in fostering stronger educational environments.

The school encouraged all stakeholders, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), private sectors, and the AHIS community who are willing to donate and offer school supplies, cleaning materials, health kits, e-learning device, and manpower services.

𝙷𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚎𝚍𝚜 𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚍 𝙰𝙷𝙸𝚂 𝚅𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚝𝚢 𝚂𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚊 𝙲𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎

Almost six hundred teachers, parents, and students of Addition Hills Integrated School (AHIS) served as crowd of the Variety Show for a Cause initiated by the School's Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) being held at AHIS Ground tonight, May 11.

Various performances showcasing the exceptional talents of AHISians shook the ground of the school and entertained the attendees.

The gates opened at six in the evening with 100 pesos worth of ticket and all the proceeds will fund the projects of SPTA headed by Mr. Ruel Estur.
