What happens when folk, rock, classical music — and an electric violin — all end up in the same band? 👀🎻🎸

We’re finding out tomorrow Mellow Live with Tuwina — four musicians with very different musical backgrounds who somehow found a sound that works beautifully together.

They’ll be playing their originals live in the Mellow studio, and we’ll get to know the people behind the music, how this unlikely mix came together, and the stories behind the songs.

Come meet Tuwina on Mellow Live. Tuesday 3pm. Also live on Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. 💛🎶

Did you know? 🤔💡

🎶 Luke Mejares is one of the Philippines’ most recognizable voices in pop, R&B, soul, and dance music.

Before becoming a solo artist, he was the vocalist of the iconic Filipino neo-soul band South Border, joining the group in 1998. 🎤🎼

🏆 In 2002, Luke embarked on his solo career, eventually giving us OPM favorites like “Pangako,” “Kahit Kailan,” and “Ako’y Sa’yo.” His smooth vocals and soulful style quickly established him as one of the country’s standout male R&B artists. ✨

🎧 Throughout his career, Luke has continued to explore different sounds—from soulful ballads to more upbeat and contemporary tracks. He has also been part of musical collaborations and projects that kept his signature voice very much alive in the OPM scene.
