The Philippine Esports Organization (PeSO) is the official National Sports Association (NSA) for esports in the Philippines, recognized by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC). As the governing body for esports in the country, PeSO is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of esports as a legitimate sport and cultural force. ional esports team, representing the country in major international competitions such as the Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, and other world-class tournaments. Beyond competition, PeSO aims to make a positive impact on Philippine society through competition, inclusivity, and fair play. It actively supports grassroots development, professional pathways, and community-building initiatives that empower Filipino esports athletes and enthusiasts alike.

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our inaugural Sibol Sessions #1, held last July 7 at The Launchpad in Mandaluyong City!

This exclusive, closed-door educational seminar was designed to empower and upskill the next generation of esports professionals. Our attendees gained firsthand knowledge from the very minds shaping our national esports team.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our esteemed keynote speakers for sharing their expertise:

🔹 Leo Andrew "Jab" Escutin, Sibol General Manager, on his insightful talk, "From Gamer to Manager," charting a path from player to industry leader.

🔹 Ralph Andrei "Coach Leather" Llabres, Sibol National Headcoach, with his fundamental masterclass, "Coaching 101," on building champion-level teams.

🔹 Manjean "Manjean" Faldas, Sibol Correspondent, who discussed the importance of integrity in "Walang Ka-bias Bias: Sibol Media Coverage."

The overwhelming success of this pilot session has paved the way for more. We are excited to announce that future Sibol Sessions will be open to the public!

The PESO Tournament Operations Team, led by Project Manager Mr. Victor Tan Cabuay of the Philippine Esports Organization (PESO), along with technical officials Jaycee Nieles, Ivan Lenard Valenzuela, and Renzo Lacsamana, successfully facilitated the inaugural Mobile Legends Tournament for the National IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities 2025, held at Ramada Hotel Manila.

With 40 participants, the tournament was a fun and action-packed event that showcased the spirit of teamwork, one of the core values of responsible gaming.

Today, our very own Executive Secretary, Mr. Jess Tamboboy, proudly represented the Philippine Esports Organization (PESO) as a Resource Speaker and Facilitator at the National IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities 2025, held at Ramada Hotel Manila.

Mr. Tamboboy delivered an engaging session on “Esports 101 + Esports and the Digital Economy,” highlighting the growing impact of esports in today’s digital landscape. His talk was warmly received by the audience, sparking enthusiasm and inspiration among the youth participants.

The Philippine Esports Organization proudly congratulates Bjorn Zedrick Cadiente, Franzes Marie Guerra, and Toni Cameron So of Ateneo de Manila University for being awarded Best Campaign Thesis as part of the AB Communication Class of 2025! 🏅

Their thesis, “Wala Kang Mararating sa Kaka-Computer!: A Campaign Framing Gaming as a Profession and Promoting SIBOL among Filipino Millennials,” stood out for its impact and relevance in advancing esports as a viable career path.

Special thanks as well to our very own Mr. Victor Cabuay, PESO Project Manager, for serving as the primary resource person throughout their thesis journey.

The Philippine Sports Commission, in collaboration with the Philippine Esports Organization, wrapped up esports week with an exciting Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament. The team "Sepak Takraw Bang Bang," composed of sepak takraw athletes, emerged victorious and even faced the national MLBB team, Sibol, in a showmatch. PSC Chairman Richard E. Bachmann and Comm. Walter Francis Torres attended the event to award the winners, with PESO and Moonton representatives facilitating the tournament.
