The Philippine Esports Organization (PESO) was honored to welcome the new Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman, Mr. Patrick "Pato" Gregorio, and PSC Commissioner Walter Francis Torres to our headquarters today.

Our productive meeting focused on synergizing the strategic roadmaps of both the PSC and PESO. We also proudly offered our expertise to support the PSC's digitalization efforts, strengthening our shared commitment to national sports development. The commitment from Chairman Gregorio marks a new, dynamic era of collaboration. This partnership is crucial in solidifying esports' place in the national sports agenda and empowering every Filipino gamer to dream bigger.

We are privileged to attend the launch of the Department of Science and Technology's (DOST) "Power Up: Game Development Bootcamp." This program is a strategic investment in our nation's talent pipeline, designed to equip aspiring game developers and entrepreneurs with the critical skills and connections needed to build viable businesses and create innovative intellectual properties.

Meaningful collaboration between government bodies like the DOST, private sector leaders like Gridlock-Games Studio, and industry organizations like PESO is essential for sustainable growth. We were pleased to join DOST Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. and officials from Gridlock-Games Studio to mark this significant step forward.

PESO firmly believes that strengthening our local game development capabilities will not only fuel the esports ecosystem but also position the Philippines as a competitive hub in the global digital economy.

We look forward to the successful outcomes of this bootcamp and the continued partnership in championing our local digital creative talent.
