I credit this baking obsession to my fellow content creator who always shares the best bread recipes! I started my bread making journey following her incredibly detailed recipes na super beginner friendly! ๐Ÿž๐Ÿฅ–๐Ÿซ“

๐—œ๐—ก๐—š๐—ฅ๐—˜๐——๐—œ๐—˜๐—ก๐—ง๐—ฆ:

Tangzhong (Bread Improver)
- 3 Tbsp (30g) Bread Flour
- ยฝ cup (125 ml) Full Cream Milk

Bread Dough:
- 2 ยฝ cups (400g) Bread Flour
- 2 Tbsp (20g) Milk Powder
- 1 tsp (5g) Salt
- โ…“ cup (70g) Sugar
- 2 ยผ tsp (6g) Saf-instantYeast
- Tangzhong (from above)
- 1/2 cup (125ml) Full Cream Milk
- 1 Egg
- 30g Butter, softened

Cheese Filling:
- 20 small cheese cubes (Cheddar, Quickmelt, Mozzarella, or Processed Cheese)

Cheesy Streusel Topping:
- ยฝ cup (113g) Butter, softened
- ยฝ cup (115g) Sugar
- ยฝ cup (63g) Powdered Milk (full cream is better)
- 1 cup (165g) Bread Flour
- 1 cup (100g) Grated Cheese (Cheddar)

For Coating:
- ยฝ cup Evaporated Milk or Full Cream Milk

๐—œ๐—ก๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—ฅ๐—จ๐—–๐—ง๐—œ๐—ข๐—ก๐—ฆ:
1. Make the Tangzhong: In a saucepan, cook bread flour and milk over low heat until thick and paste-like. Remove from heat and let cool.
2. Prepare the dough: In a bowl, combine bread flour, milk powder, salt, sugar, yeast, Tangzhong, milk, and egg until a sticky dough forms. Add butter and knead until smooth and elastic, about 10โ€“12 minutes by hand or on medium-high speed with a mixer.
3. First rise: Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
4. Make the streusel: Mix butter, sugar, milk powder, and flour until crumbly. Add grated cheese and mix again, then set aside.
5. Shape and fill: Punch down the dough, divide into 40g pieces (12โ€“16 total), and roll into balls. Rest 10 minutes. Flatten each ball, add 1 cheese cube in the center, seal, and roll smooth again.
6. Coat with streusel: Lightly dip each ball in milk (quick dip only) and roll in streusel until fully coated.
7. Final rise and bake: Arrange on a lined tray with space in between. Cover and let rise for 30โ€“45 minutes until puffy. Bake at 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) for 15โ€“18 minutes or until golden brown.

My streusel turned out a bit clumpy (hence the clumps on the toppings) because I combined everything all at onceโ€”add the cheese last when the ingredients are already well combined to avoid this.

My favorite quick and easy high-protein bowl! I typically add a bunch of greens for fiber but I ran out so feel free to experiment! ๐Ÿฅ—

PS tuna is a great protein source better if fresh but for days when you have to make a quick one, in Springwater talaga but lmk if you also have other recos! ๐ŸŸ

โ€ข 100g Cooking oil (approx. ยฝ cup)
โ€ข 200g White sugar (1 cup)
โ€ข 100g Brown sugar (ยฝ cup)
โ€ข 2 tsp Vanilla
โ€ข 120g Cocoa powder (1 cup)
โ€ข 1 tsp instand coffee powder
โ€ข Pinch of salt
โ€ข 240g All-purpose flour (approx. 2 cups)
โ€ข 3 tsp Baking powder

๐Ÿง For Rolling:
โ€ข Powdered sugar

๐ŸŒ‹ LAVA CENTER:
โ€ข 100g Dark or semi-sweet chocolate
โ€ข 100g Heavy cream
โ€ข Pinch of salt

Bake at 180c preheated oven for 10-12minutes.

Baking my second cake and I can vouch that this is moist, decadent and delicious! Made this for my Dad-in-lawโ€™s birthday and Iโ€™ve been making it for other fam too! This recipe makes 2 bento-sized cakes or 1 6-7 inch cake. Recipe from Chelsweets Enjoy!

Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe

* 2 cups all-purpose flour 260g
* 2 cups granulated sugar 400g
* 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted 75g
* 2 tsp baking powder 8g
* 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 9g
* 1 tsp fine salt 6g
* 1 cup warm water 240g
* 2 tsp instant espresso or coffee 5g
* 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature 240g
* 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil 110g
* 2 large eggs, room temperature 112g
* 2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste 8g

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

* 2 cups (4 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature 452g
* 1 cup unsweetened or dark cocoa powder 100g
* 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste 4g
* 1/2 tsp fine salt 3g
* 5 cups powdered sugar 625g
* 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream, room temperature 180g
* 1 1/3 cups dark chocolate chips, melted and cooled 230g

Chocolate Cake Layers

1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and line three 8-inch or four 7-inch pans.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, ยพ cup cocoa powder, 2 tsp baking powder, 1ยฝ tsp baking soda, and 1 tsp salt.
3. In another bowl, dissolve 2 tsp instant espresso in 1 cup hot water. Stir in 1 cup buttermilk, ยฝ cup oil, 2 eggs, and 2 tsp vanilla.
4. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until smooth (batter will be thin).
5. Divide evenly between pans (weigh for even layers) and bake 23โ€“25 min.
6. Cool in pans 10 min, then turn out onto wire racks. Level layers once cooled.

Chocolate Buttercream

1. Beat 2 cups butter until smooth.
2. Add 1 cup cocoa, 1 tsp vanilla, ยฝ tsp salt; mix until combined.
3. Gradually add 5 cups powdered sugar, adding โ…” cup heavy cream halfway through.
4. Mix in 1โ…“ cups melted, cooled dark chocolate until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap until ready to use.

I started my baking journey baking making copious amounts of banana bread for family and friends so I can definitely vouch for this being beginner-friendly. Crispy outside but moist and soft inside, perfect for banana lovers!

* 2โ€“3 very ripe bananas (1ยผโ€“1ยฝ cups mashed)
* โ…“ cup (76g) melted butter
* ยฝ tsp baking soda
* Pinch of salt
* ยพ cup (150g) sugar (ยฝ cup if less sweet, 1 cup if sweeter)
* 1 large egg, beaten
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1ยฝ cups (205g) all-purpose flour

Bo Ne is a fusion of Vietnamese and French cuisines, and it's all about that sizzle. It's surprisingly simple to make, but the flavor is out of this world!

๐ˆ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:

โ€ข For the Beef:
o 2 boneless beef steaks (sirloin or flank steak works great)
o 1 pack Bo Ne Sauce
o Or if youโ€™re making from scratch (1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp black pepper, a pinch of minced garlic

โ€ข For Serving:
o Fresh baguette, sliced
o 1 small onion, sliced
o 2 slices of liver pate (optional, but highly recommended!)
o Cucumbers and tomatoes, sliced (optional)

๐ˆ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ:

1. Slice the beef into thin strips. In a bowl, mix the steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, pepper, and garlic or the marinade and let sit for 15mins.
2. Heat a cast-iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter or oil.
3. Add the marinated beef strips to the hot pan and sear quickly, about 1-2 minutes per side. We want a nice brown crust but keep it tender!
4. Transfer the beef to a sizzling plate or directly to a heat-proof plate. Serve it immediately while it's still sizzling, with a side of your fresh baguette slices for dipping and any veggies you like.
