Giplanohan sa lokal nga kagamhanan sa Mandaue ang paglimpyo sa mga drainage isip usa sa mga lakang sa pagsulbad sa balik-balik nga pagbaha sa P.J. Burgos Street, Barangay Centro atol sa courtesy call sa mga opisyal sa maong barangay sa buhatan ni Mayor Thadeo β€œJonkie” Ouano karong adlawa, Agosto 12.

Sumala sa opisyales sa maong barangay, nakit-an ang pag-awas sa mga drainage sa P.J. Burgos St. atol sa sunod-sunod nga pag-uwan sa milabay nga mga semana nga miresulta sa pagbaha sa lugar.

Gipangandaman sa siyudad ang pagpalimpyo sa mga drainage pinaagi sa koordinasyon sa City Engineer’s Office (CEO) aron matangtang ang mga posibleng nakabara ug mas mapahapsay ang pag-agos sa tubig ilabi na panahon sa kusog nga pag-uwan.

Gawas niini, nahisgutan usab ang plano nga pagpatambak og yuta sa Centro Park aron mas mapahimuslan kini sa barangay ug sa publiko.

Gipangulohan ang courtesy call ni Barangay Captain Ignacio Cortes II, kauban ang mga konsehal nga sila Eric Latonio, Mary Gleene Noval, David Jim Alesna, Ira Noemi Seno, Alexander Joshua Heyrosa ug Carlo Pesons, ug Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson Bianca Leighne Malig-on.

Following the latest update from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), limited generation across the Visayas Grid continues due to the non-availability of imported power from the Mindanao Grid.

As a result, a scheduled one-hour rotational brownout is being implemented to help balance the available power supply with current demand and maintain overall grid stability.

To help maintain the stability of the power grid, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has placed the Visayas Grid under the following alert statuses today, August 12, 2026.

According to NGCP's 7:00 AM Grid Status Update, the Visayas Grid has an available capacity of 2,153 MW against a peak demand of 2,394 MW.

As electricity demand currently exceeds available power supply, temporary rotational brownouts may be implemented in affected areas.
