🇯🇵 Difference Between TITP and SSW for Caregivers🇯🇵
🌸TITP (Technical Intern Training Program)
✅Age: Usually up to 30 years old, though some employers may not have an age limit (rare).
✅Requirements:
⚫️JFT or JLPT N4 passer (Japanese Language Exam)
⚫️TESDA NC2 (Caregiving)
✅Experience: Depends on the employer; some accept applicants without experience.
⚠️Contract: Maximum of 3 years. Salary is generally lower compared to SSW.
🌸SSW (Specified Skilled Worker)
✅Age: No specific age limit. Applicants aged 30–50 can still apply, depending on the employer’s preference.
✅Requirements:
⚫️JFT or JLPT N4 passer
⚫️Prometric passer (both English & Japanese)
⚫️NC2 and experience: Optional; depends on the employer’s preference.
⚠️Contract:
⏳SSW 1: Up to 5 years
⏳SSW 2: An additional 5 years
While in SSW 1, you can take the Kaigofukushishi (National Care Worker Certification exam). Passing this opens opportunities for higher salary and is also a pathway to permanent residency.
For example, after completing 10 years under SSW, you may become eligible to apply for permanent residency. Once granted, you can bring your direct family to Japan.
💡 To all aspiring caregivers studying Nihongo right now: keep going, don’t give up. All your hard work and sacrifices will be worth it in the end. 💫🌟🍀☘️
I am always here, willing to guide and support you but remember, you must also help yourself. 🙇♀️
