Vivant Energy, the power arm of Vivant Corporation, is proud to support the sustainable tourism efforts of Villa Escudero Plantations & Resort through the installation of a state-of-the-art solar energy facility on its 800-hectare estate in Tiaong, Quezon.

The new facility, equipped with approximately 400 solar panels, shall
✅ Offset 166 metric tons of carbon emissions annually
✅ Reduce grid power consumption by 310,000 kWh

Planting trees is one of the most effective ways to address climate change.

Aimed to help mitigate greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere, Vivant Corporation has partnered with various organizations since 2009. This year, the publicly-listed conglomerate, in partnership with Ayala Land, Inc., is cultivating 9.7 hectares of land as carbon forest in Brgy. Malubog in Cebu City.

To date, over 55,000 tree species have been planted by volunteers led by Vivant Foundation, Inc as part of its annual tree planting initiative.

Tons of garbage were collected by volunteers from Vivant Corporation during its simultaneous coastal cleanup drive in Baseco Beach, Manila; Guadalupe River, Cebu; and Cordova Coast, Mactan.

Joining the good cause of the publicly listed conglomerate are volunteers from the local barangays and non-government organizations where Vivant Corporation subsidiaries operate.

The International Coastal Cleanup Day is the largest global volunteer initiative dedicated to ocean health that takes place on the third Saturday of September each year to clean up lakes, rivers, and beaches around the globe.

LOOK: VIVANT WELCOMES FIRST WATER FROM THE COUNTRY’S FIRST UTILITY-GRADE DESALINATION PLANT

Vivant Water welcomes the first water from the first train or skid of its plant in Cordova, Cebu and made history as the first company to establish a utility-scale seawater desalination plant in the country.

With the completion of the first skid, the plant is now ready to provide 5 million liters of clean and potable water per day to as much as 5,000 households within Metro Cebu. When fully operational, the water from the plant will be a sustainable source of drinking water and will ultimately help address the on-going water crisis in Metro Cebu.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to those who have contributed funds to our disaster relief efforts, especially to SGV Foundation Inc. and J Ten Equities. As of 27 December 2021, we’ve raised P1.88 million and provided a counterpart of P11.78 million, coming from Vivant Corporation, Vivant Energy Corporation, Vivant Infracore Holdings Inc., and Vivant Foundation Inc.

With these funds, we’ve distributed food, water, and generator sets and fuel to Cebu Province (including to the towns of Cordova and Moalboal as well as to the cities of Carcar and Toledo), and to the cities of Mandaue and Cebu, as well as to the Province of Palawan.

Through Vivant Foundation, Inc, we are continuing our relief efforts in areas badly hit by super typhoon Odette. You may send your donations to:
