PNP NAARESTO ANG 11 MOST WANTED AT 10 HVIs; MAHIGIT ₱19.7M NA DROGA NAKUMPISKA

Ani Acting Chief PNP, Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.:

Ani PNP Spokesperson at Chief PIO, Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño:

PNP BACKS PBBM'S CALL FOR FULL TRANSPARENCY IN FLOOD CONTROL PROJECTS

Following the strong directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to uphold transparency and accountability in government infrastructure programs, the Philippine National Police (PNP) extended full investigative and security assistance to the Independent Commission on Infrastructure (ICI) during its series of inspections and document requests across multiple regions yesterday, September 25, 2025.

The ICI, led by Baguio City Mayor and retired Police Major General Benjamin Magalong together with Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon, conducted on-site inspections and document verification of various flood control projects across several regions, with full investigative and security assistance from the PNP.

Regional Field Units of the PNP from Regions 1, 3, 4B, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 13 teamed up with the DPWH, NBI, ICI representatives, HPG, and local police to provide investigative support, secure critical records, and guarantee the safe progress of the ICI’s ongoing inquiry.

Acting Chief PNP, Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. said:
“This mission goes beyond routine assistance—it is a clear demonstration that the PNP stands firmly behind the President’s fight for clean governance. Public trust in government projects is built on truth and accountability, and we will continue to safeguard that trust,”

Meanwhile, PNP Spokesperson and Chief PIO, Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño, underscored the police’s role in supporting transparency:

“When irregularities are exposed, the public deserves answers, and the PNP will always be a partner in bringing those answers to light. This is part of our duty to ensure that every peso for public service truly reaches the people.”

The PNP reiterates its full support to the ICI and all government institutions working to uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability in line with the vision of a “Bagong Pilipinas.”
