Pray this when the hard season feels like it will never end…

God I want to believe that you are with me as I face this season, but it is so difficult to see you in the midst of my pain, fear, and seemingly unanswered prayers. Lord, Your Word says, to “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10). When I begin to doubt that this is true, help my unbelief, Lord. When I am tempted to seek comfort outside of you, remind me of your presence.

And when I begin to feel like I just can’t go on anymore, may I repeat this to myself:

I don’t have to fear, for You are with me.

I don’t have to be discouraged, because You are my God.

You promise to strengthen me.

You promise to help me.

You promise to uphold me with your righteous hand.

Through my deepest pain and on my worst days Your promises remain true.

Thank You that as seasons change, Your heart for me never wavers.
