CAPTAIN

He is a sailor in command. A leader worthy of the phrase "He is always right". A product of a profession equitable with a humor of being ubiquitous in skilled and discernment. Expert in wide range is anchored on him waiting to be hauled up for a significant cause. People phrasing him as an old man's fellow with a bunch of smoke, strong being who enforced rigorous rules onboard. Being him is both an honor and responsibility. He can conduct himself in a manner consistent to his will. A pressing responsibility unseen to most eyes are always upon his shoulder. Its not easy to become a captain. He does involving numerous complicated task commencing from navigation and manuevering. His ship is his Command. His realm for a definite time. Daily undertakings transmits to his adrenaline as his crew and vessel willingly obliged without second thoughts and resistance. Moreoften, charterer and owner aspects including cargoes are always on his list. He is acquainted in regulatory and statutory requirements, a vanguard not for the fainhearted but only for those who deserves it.

STARLINK MARITIME

Never in the last 30 years of dealing with offshore electronics I have been more impressed by a piece of equipment that I am with Maritime version of Starlink.

Cheap, can be installed by ships crew in an hour, runs on unbelievable speeds and in all conditions including heavy rolling, heavy rain and low clouds. We have just installed it on all fleet of 20 vessels and with our crews of 200 everyone can access Netflix, YouTube, Video calls etc with only 2 antennas per vessel. From business side we can stream all CCTV to office, have direct access to all Drilling operations with live feed from ROVs and vessel automation systems. Completely maintenance free, CHEAPER than any VSAT based Internet, much faster and much easier to install Maritime Starlink should be choice of every vessel or rig out there. Get your now - inform your vessel managers about it and ask for it to be delivered. Finally offshore and seafaring personel ican be properly connected to the world!

Dear Seafarers,

Please be informed that the MARINA Satellite Office located at Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) will be permanently closed effective 15 May 2023. The certification services will be transferred back to the MARINA Central Office located at 20th St. cor. Bonifacio Drive, Port Area, Manila.

The Central Office is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Please be guided accordingly.

Next time pakilagyan po agad ng Pangalan at contact number mo. Huling nakita sa kahabaan ng Bocobo st. malate Manila 💔.
