SUCCESS STORY
We had a great talk about life, entrepreneurial wisdom and inspiring success of the owner of Fields & Brew, Mr. Ferdinand Alcos. It wasn't easy for him to start all the way from rock bottom: to becoming a call center agent; doing freelancing since early 2012; to creating digital marketing agencies for foreign international until he was able to establish his own businesses. Mr. Alcos is also the Chief Mentor of Project ALCOS Mentoring and Coaching, and with his proven mentoring program, he was able to produce successful people even abroad!

He said, as a nurse, one of he's chief aim is to care for the Filipino in general and the represent the Philippines in the Digitalization and Digital Transformation arena, through small steps of sharing his innovative solutions, success stories and motivational speaking which will nourish, support and boost entrepreneurial & leadership spirit of the youth and start ups.

We admire his heart of inspiring many people and his spirit braving the pandemic despite challenges and odds of life. Snappy salute to you Sir and your wife!

A MUST TRY FRAPPE COFFEE JELLY MIX OF THE SOUTH

It was 2017 when I first fell in love with Frappe Coffee Jelly. I, then always ask the barista to add a scoop of extra coffee jelly for 25 pesos. Frappe coffee jelly became my favorite drink whenever I visit a coffee shop.

Recently, our team was invited to visit Fields & Brew located in Batangas City, within its 24 hour zone district. Locals said, that their location was known as “Supreme Bus station”, and everyone can easily visit it via jeepney with “Balagtas or Kapitolyo” signage or Waze it: Fields and Brew.

OUR REVIEW
INGREDIENTS: Fields & Brew’s Caramel Mocha Coffee Jelly has a great taste of luscious dark chocolate, lush sip of mocha, dose of espresso shot, fresh milk taste and generous offer of coffee jelly — both bottom and top have coffee jellies.

TASTE: Initial sip gives a gush of distinct flavors which perfectly throng my tongue — the espresso coffee is truly distinguishable, caramel & milk have light touch of flavor while the dark chocolate makes the sip more enjoyable. When sipping the bottom to get coffee jelly, it presents a gentle bite size.

ADD ONS:
I asked for an extra scoop of coffee jelly, they handsomely offered it for only 20 pesos VS 25 pesos from the other cafe which I frequently visit.

OVERALL, the taste of their Caramel Mocha Coffee Jelly is appealing and fairly luscious. Its sweetness is derived from its Mocha syrup which can be adjusted from 25% to 100% serving depending on your preference and frappe character.

NUEVA VIZCAYA PANCAKES

This lad owns and operates his pancake bar beside the road midst Lactawan, Nueva Vizcaya. You’ll surely notice the stall before crossing the curved baryo bridge, it sits down near the river and the lush forest.

At a price of P5 per piece you can enjoy choco, yema or cheese flavor, stirred with organic ingredients and his enthusiastic-entrepreneurial spirit. All pancake are freshly cooked and don’t taste sweet.

In my voyage within the area, I couldn’t resist to stop by and buy at least a dozen of the “Blessed Japanese Pancake”, the next thing I remember asking myself was “Where can I have a sip of [barako] coffee?”

Before pressing forward to your destination, make sure you buy enough because you’ll surely crave for more!
