Being a public figure means people might want to know everything about you. Decide what you and your family are comfortable sharing and what you want to keep to yourself. Balance is key to protecting your personal life and the life of your loved-ones.
Your parents and other members of the family may not be comfortable coming out of the public and inviting other people in your home, only TRUE FRIENDS will understand and respect those rules.
“HEALTHY BOUNDARIES” are guidelines or LIMITS that a person sets to protect their well-being and personal space. They help individuals define what behaviors are acceptable and unacceptable in their relationships and interactions with others.
Establishing healthy boundaries allows people to communicate their needs and expectations clearly, leading to more respectful and fulfilling relationships.
These boundaries can manifest in various ways, such as:
1. Emotional Boundaries : Protecting your feelings by being clear about what you're comfortable sharing and what you're not.
2. Physical Boundaries : Respect your personal space and physical needs, such as needing time alone or avoiding physical contact.
3. Time Boundaries : Ensuring you have time for yourself and your priorities and not overcommitting to others.
4. Material Boundaries : Setting limits on lending or sharing possessions and finances.
5. Digital Boundaries : Managing how you interact with others online and how much you share on social media.
By maintaining healthy boundaries, individuals can create a balanced life that honors their values and needs, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-respect.
Keep in mind that not everyone will like you and its 💯% ok. Learn to deal with criticism without letting it bother you too much. Stay positive and focused on your goals.
Proverbs 4:23
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it”
