From Zoo to Zen 🐾🌴

Galing pa kaming Manila to visit Avilon Zoo — and after all the walking, napagod agad si Zoey! We wanted to make the most out of the day, so we checked out the nearby resort — as in 2 to 3 minutes walk lang from the zoo!

Perfect spot for a quick cool down.

Location: Sitio Gulod, Brgy. San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal

🌼Daytime: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
🌼Overnight: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

‼️Quick things to know:

🌸 No WiFi when we went, so better prepare your own data kung kailangan mo mag-connect.

🌸 You can order food via Grab! Sa 2 orders namin, one rider waited sa gate lang, pero buti na lang si Kuya sa second order, pumasok pa at hinatid talaga sa loob — thank you, Kuya! (Medyo mahaba din lalakarin papunta sa gate)

🌸 We also bought Zoey’s swimsuit and our slippers right at the resort store!

🌸 Free breakfast is provided, but there are no options—you can’t choose your meal. Pork longganisa was served, but I don’t eat pork ☹️. Yung egg nalang ang kinain and yung baon.

Overall, the experience was good — a few minor things, but nothing that ruined the moment.

Spent the day surrounded by animals and nature—super worth it for the price! 🌿🦁🐒

📍 A few quick tips:

• They don’t accept GCash for now due to signal issues, so bring cash!

• Malamok! Especially during this rainy season. Good thing we packed Off lotion—a must!

• Yes, you can bring food and drinks inside, but there’s a ₱50 corkage fee per person.

• Maps are available online, and signs are numbered from 1 to 70, so you won’t miss anything.

• No pets, smoking, or camera drones allowed.
