Human Beings: To Protect or To Destruct?
We are blessed with a paradise that hides a lot of treasures and wonders and its filled with stupendous resources, enough for our survival. God has given us this place and made us as the steward of His creation. We’re surrounded by majestic sceneries that was indeed captivating; not until human became too smart and innovation takes place.
Are we still here to protect? Or we were just here to overuse these natural resources that's left?
When human race was bound into chains of ignorance, selfishness, and epathy. We overuse our natural resources which results to destruction, scarcity, and danger. The nature that we should all protect was slowly deteriorating because of our inhumane activities. When we begin the phase of suffering because of climate change and global warming, we cannot blame anyone but honestly ourselves.
As nature takes on revenge, we haven't take any action. We aren't feared by thunderstorms, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. We are too ignorant and ungrateful that even our own ghost cannot fear us. Are we really deserving to be in this position we are right now? Or God had just made a horrible mistake of putting humans into life.
Our environment, our nature is slowly dying but as humans who doesn't care, we just sit there, drink coffee and watch innovation take over everything. Buildings replaced trees. Virgin forests being turned down to commercial places and onto worse. Animals being mercilessly killed for stubborn experiments just for humane interest.
Are these what we call steward of nature? We shall be the one to restore and protect but we are just here to caused its destruction.
Nature without humans can survive. It can remained lovely and it could be still beautiful. Humans were just causing its deterioration, abusing it for we are too greedy in everything. Yet we are still too ignorant of the negative effects that we never seemed to care after all.
Destruction surrounds us, but we care for nothing but to feed our needs for improvement. We have already crossed the line. We are given responsibility to be the steward of God's creation. We should protect, but what we dos, is the other way around.
