This was the promise made by Senator Kuya Alan Peter Cayetano as he reaffirmed his commitment to pursue the truth behind the alleged flood control corruption scandal despite no longer holding the Senate presidency.
In a statement on Wednesday, Sen. Kuya Alan stressed that the fight was never about titles or positions, but about uncovering what happened to billions of pesos intended to protect Filipino communities from flooding and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.
The Senate Minority Leader vowed to continue defending the public's right to the truth and to press forward with the pursuit of accountability, saying that the commitment to serve the Filipino people extends beyond any office, position, or title.
