Congratulations to NM Angele Tenshi Biete, champion of the 7th UQCC FIDE-Rated Blitz Chess Tournament (Rated 2250 and Below) held on September 12, 2026, at SM Makati!

In blitz, every second matters. It takes focus, confidence, and the courage to keep fighting until the very last move. Angele showed exactly that throughout the tournament and finished on top.

ANOTHER CHANCE TO LEARN DIRECTLY FROM A GRANDMASTER

United Queens Chess Club is back with its 5th GM Training Series, featuring GM Ulvi Sadikhov!

GM Ulvi has a peak FIDE rating of 2517 and has been coaching chess players since 2016. He is the 2019 Bosnian Open Champion and the co-author of Secrets of Chess Tactics with IM Bahruz Rzayev.

With his experience as both a player and coach, GM Ulvi is known for his practical approach to chess training and strong tactical understanding.

This will be a three-session online lecture series via Zoom, where participants can learn directly from GM Ulvi and ask questions during the sessions.

Session 1: September 16, 2026 — 7:30 PM
