𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | PEA: UNANG BATCH NG FIELD STUDY OBSERVATION, MATAGUMPAY NA NAIDEPLOY

Isang makasaysayang yugto ang naitala sa College of Education ng PHINMA Saint Jude College matapos ang matagumpay na deployment ng unang batch ng mga estudyante para sa kanilang Field Study Observation. Ang mga future educators ay pormal nang nagsimula ng kanilang paglalakbay sa loob ng silid-aralan, tanda ng kanilang pagtahak sa mas mataas na yugto ng kanilang paghubog bilang mga g**o.

Itinuturing itong isang mahalagang milestone, hindi lamang dahil sa pagpapakita ng dedikasyon ng mga estudyante, kundi dahil na rin sa kanilang malasakit at hangarin na yakapin ang dakilang bokasyon ng pagtuturo. Sa ilalim ng gabay ng kanilang mga g**o at katuwang na institusyon, inaasahan na mas lalo pa nilang palalalimin ang kanilang kaalaman at kasanayan bilang magiging tagapagturo ng susunod na henerasyon.

Bukod dito, binigyang-diin ng College of Education na ang programang ito ay hindi lamang nakatuon sa akademikong aspeto, kundi sa pagpapanday ng puso at isip ng mga estudyante upang maging tunay na g**o na may malasakit, integridad, at kahusayan. Ang Field Study Observation ay nagsisilbing unang hakbang bago ang mas malalim na pagsabak sa practice teaching, kung saan masusubok ang kanilang pagiging handa at kakayahang humarap sa totoong hamon ng pagtuturo.

Sa pamamagitan ng suportang ibinibigay ng pamunuan at mga partner schools, buo ang paniniwala na ang mga estudyanteng ito ay magiging inspirasyon at ilaw para sa kanilang mga magiging estudyante sa hinaharap. Ang matagumpay na pagsisimula ng Field Study Observation ay patunay na ang College of Education ay patuloy na gumagawa ng paraan upang maihanda ang mga mag-aaral bilang future educators na may pusong PHINMA.

𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬: 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐮𝐢𝐧?

There are wounds that heal on their own, and there are wounds we keep covering up, knowing they will open again. Such is the face of toxic relationships—not a simple quarrel, but a cycle of pain and destruction that feels impossible to leave.

With every “I love you” comes another wound. With every tear comes another embrace. And with every promise of “I’ll change,” comes the breaking of trust once again. Over and over. Endless.

This is not love. It is a cycle of abuse.

𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹

Research shows that nearly 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will experience an unhealthy or abusive relationship in their lifetime. Many stay not because they are weak, but because of trauma bonding—clinging to the same person who inflicts pain yet also provides fleeting comfort. They become both the wound and the cure, both the poison and the antidote.

This is why so many victims cannot simply walk away. When society tells them to “just endure it,” the chains only tighten. We end up normalizing what should never be normal, romanticizing what is actually breaking us.

𝗔 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

In the Philippines, our culture fuels this. We grow up on movies and songs that glorify suffering in the name of love: “If you love them, wait. If you love them, forgive. If you love them, never let go.”

But why don’t we ask: If you love them, should you really endure pain?

True love is not a bruise covered with makeup. Not a scar brushed off with “I’m fine.” Not poison swallowed daily in the name of romance.

𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆

We must dismantle the belief that love is measured by how much pain you can endure. Strength in a relationship is not about how many times you are broken but stay. Real love is measured by how it builds you up—not how it repeatedly tears you down.

This is what we must fight for: the right to leave, the right to love without being hurt, the right to choose ourselves over a broken idea of what love should be.

𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

If you find yourself stuck in a wound that never heals, remember: you are not the problem. Your love is not lacking. Your patience is not lacking. What is lacking is the respect and freedom you should never have to beg for from someone who claims to love you.

Love should not be the cut that always bleeds. Love should be healing. Love should be freedom. And if it is not, then it is time to fight for yourself.

Not every wound deserves to be reopened. And not every love deserves to be held onto.

WORLD HEART DAY 2025

Alam ba ninyo na ang cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) ang nangungunang sanhi ng pagkamatay sa buong mundo? Mahigit 17 milyong tao ang naaapektuhan nito taun-taon.

Layunin ng World Heart Day na ipalaganap ang kaalaman tungkol sa mga sakit sa puso at hikayatin ang lahat na gumawa ng simpleng hakbang para mapanatili ang kalusugan:

Kumain ng masustansya at balanse

Mag-ehersisyo ng hindi bababa sa 30 minuto kada araw

Iwasan ang paninigarilyo at labis na pag-inom ng alak

Magpa-check up at alamin ang blood pressure, cholesterol, at blood sugar

Ang malusog na puso ay pundasyon ng isang masigla at mahabang buhay.

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | PAGPUPULONG NG MGA JPIANS, GAGANAPIN SA PHINMA SJC QC

Gaganapin ang General Assembly ng Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) sa PHINMA SJC QC Aurora Gym sa darating na Setyembre 30, 2025, mula 8:00 AM hanggang 12:00 NN. Inaasahan ang pagdalo ng lahat ng mga miyembro ng JPIA sa nasabing pagpupulong.

Inihayag ng pamunuan ng JPIA na ang kasuotan para sa okasyon ay casual, ngunit kinakailangang sumunod pa rin sa dress code ng paaralan. Layunin ng pagpupulong na ito na magbigay ng impormasyon at magtalakay ng mga mahahalagang paksa na may kinalaman sa organisasyon at sa mga miyembro nito. Ang tema ng pagpupulong ay "Even Keel: Voyaging Through the Seas of Knowledge".

Naghanda rin ang JPIA ng travel guide para sa mga dadalo upang maging madali ang pagpunta sa lugar ng pagpupulong. Hinihikayat ang lahat na markahan ang kanilang mga kalendaryo at planuhin ang kanilang paglalakbay upang makasama sa paglalayag sa dagat ng kaalaman.

I have yet to stand before your wake.
That, I know, is for my own sake.

Why? you might ask.
Because farewells are never an easy task.

But do not worry, you are not to blame.
Love, by nature, is never tame.
It is restless, it is wild,
Like the sleepless cries of a child.

Still—I’ve learned not all love must burn,
Not all departures ache to return.
Not every heart is meant to stay;
Some arrive to teach, then drift away.

I once thought love lived only in flame,
In whispered vows and the calling of names.
But now I find it in stiller skies,
In steady hearts and unclouded eyes.

In laughter shared across the space between,
In gentle acts—both felt and unseen.
In hands that held with no demand,

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | WALANG PASOK SA PHINMA SAINT JUDE COLLEGE MANILA AT QUEZON CITY DAHIL SA BAGYONG OPONG

Setyembre 26, 2025 – Inanunsyo ng PHINMA Saint Jude College na suspindido ang lahat ng face-to-face classes sa Manila at Quezon City campuses (Senior High School at Tertiary levels) bilang tugon sa kautusan ng mga lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City at Maynila kaugnay ng banta ng Bagyong Opong.

Upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagkatuto ng mga estudyante, lilipat sa remote learning ang lahat ng klase ngayong araw. Nilinaw rin ng pamunuan na mananatiling bukas ang mga campus para sa iba pang transaksyon at serbisyo.

Binigyang-diin ng administrasyon ng PHINMA Saint Jude College na kaligtasan ng mga estudyante, g**o, at kawani ang pangunahing prayoridad, kasabay ng paalala na maging mapagmatyag at mag-ingat sa epekto ng masamang panahon.

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | PHINMA SAINT JUDE COLLEGE MANILA NAGDIRIWANG NG MEDTECH WEEK 2025

Opisyal nang sinimulan sa PHINMA Saint Jude College Manila ang selebrasyon ng Medical Technology (MedTech) Week 2025, isang linggong programa na layong ipagdiwang at kilalanin ang kahalagahan ng mga Medical Technologists sa larangan ng kalusugan at serbisyong medikal.

Tampok sa unang araw ang parada ng mga estudyante, pagbubukas ng iba’t ibang academic competitions, at mga programang pang-edukasyon na sumasalamin sa husay at dedikasyon ng MedTech students. Kabilang dito ang quiz bees, poster-making contests, at iba pang patimpalak na hindi lamang nakatuon sa katalinuhan kundi pati na rin sa pagkamalikhain ng mga mag-aaral.

Ayon sa College of Medical Technology, ang MedTech Week ay hindi lamang selebrasyon kundi pagkilala sa tungkulin ng bawat estudyante bilang future Medical Technologists na may mahalagang papel sa pag-diagnose at pagprotekta ng kalusugan ng bawat Pilipino.

Dagdag pa rito, inihahanda rin ang iba’t ibang community extension activities at blood-letting program na magsisilbing konkretong ambag ng mga MedTech students sa lipunan.

Ang buong pamayanan ng PHINMA Saint Jude College Manila ay hinihikayat na makiisa at makibahagi sa mga aktibidad na hatid ng MedTech Week 2025 upang higit pang mapalalim ang diwa ng pagkakaisa at paglilingkod.

𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 | TM STUDENTS NAGPAKILALA NG KAKAYAHAN SA ENTREPRENEURSHIP BOOTH

Bilang bahagi ng kanilang Entrepreneurship subject, itinampok ng mga estudyante mula sa Tourism Management (TM) Department ang kanilang booth ngayong linggo sa loob ng campus. Tampok dito ang iba’t ibang produkto at serbisyo na kanilang inihanda upang ipakita ang kanilang pagkamalikhain at galing sa larangan ng pagnenegosyo.

Layunin ng proyektong ito na sanayin ang mga TM students sa pagpapatakbo ng isang negosyo, tamang pakikipag-ugnayan sa kliyente, at epektibong marketing strategies—mga kasanayang tiyak na makatutulong sa kanilang future careers bilang tourism professionals.
