2024 PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES, TEAM PH WEARS ‘SINAG’ IN FRANCE
The Games of the ###III Olympiad, more commonly labeled as the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, has officially commenced at River Seine, France last July 26, 2024 where delegates from different countries sailed on their respective boats with supporters watching from the riverbanks.
As part of their uniforms, the Filipino athletes proudly wore their Olympic outfit, the ‘SINAG’ Barong which was designed by Francis Libiran, during the opening ceremony. His design features the colors of the Philippine flag and depicts the country’s rich history with its Pintados-inspired details.
The Olympic summer games feature a total of 329 events in 32 sports, in which Philippines will be participating in 22 of them. The respective delegates for each event are as follow:

Aleah Finnegan – Women’s gymnastics
Emma Malabuyo – Women’s gymnastics
Levi Ruivivar – Women’s gymnastics
Kiyomi Watanabe – Women’s Judo – 63 kg
Joanie Delgaco – Women’s single sculls
Jarod Hatch – Men’s 100m butterfly
Kayla Sanches – Women’s 100m freestyle
John Ceniza – Men’s weightlifting – 61 kg
Elreen Ando – Women’s weightlifting – 59 kg
