“Coach, hindi muna ako babalik ng Davao sa loob ng mga limang taon… gusto ko munang yumaman at iahon ang aking pamilya sa kahirapan.” 🥺🥺🥺

He was only 19.💔

A family lost a son.
Friends lost a brother.
A young man’s dreams were taken too soon.

Rene’s name was meant to be heard in packed arenas and championship moments. Instead, it now echoes through tributes, prayers, and grief.

Some stories end after the final buzzer.🥺

His ended before the game even began.

Rest in peace, Rene. 🕊️
Your story may have ended too soon, but you will never be forgotten.

DREAM DELIVERED! 🎓🏍️

“I had a dream worth fighting for.”

John Ray M. Cahinod, a Grab rider and working student, has successfully earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology degree from Negros Oriental State University, turning years of sacrifice, long rides, and sleepless nights into a powerful graduation story.

Throughout his college journey, he carried two responsibilities: attending classes as a student and working as a delivery rider to help support his education.

There were days filled with exhaustion, pressure, and moments when giving up felt easier, but he continued moving forward because he had a dream worth fighting for.

Every delivery he completed became another step closer to his diploma. Every challenge became part of a journey built on discipline, faith, hard work, and determination.

Now a proud BS Criminology graduate, Cahinod’s story stands as an inspiration to working students who continue to balance education, livelihood, and personal dreams despite the weight of their responsibilities.

His achievement reminds every learner that success is not measured by how easy the road is, but by the courage to keep going despite the obstacles.

From rider to graduate, from sacrifice to success, his diploma is more than a piece of paper. It is proof that dreams remain within reach for those willing to work, endure, and believe.

Congratulations, John Ray! This is only the beginning. 🌻
