One day, they’ll stop reaching for me in the middle of the night.
They’ll stop asking me to carry them, hold them, or stay beside them while they sleep.
One day, they’ll learn how to do things on their own… and slowly, without even noticing, they’ll need me less.

And honestly, that thought breaks my heart a little.

Because right now, even in the chaos, exhaustion, sleepless nights, and overwhelming days… these are still the moments I’ll miss someday.

The tiny hands holding onto mine.
The little hugs that come out of nowhere.
The way they look for comfort in me.
The way they call “Mama” like I’m their whole world.

Motherhood can be tiring, repetitive, and overwhelming.
But deep down, we know these days won’t last forever.

So maybe I’ll say yes to one more cuddle.
One more “carry me.”
One more bedtime story.
One more hug before they grow a little bigger tomorrow.

Because one day… these little hands won’t need mine anymore. 🤎

Maybe moms need someone to ask if they’re okay too. 🤎

Not just ask if the kids are okay.
Not just ask if the house is clean.
Not just ask what’s for dinner or what still needs to be done.

But ask her.

The mom who stays up late even when everyone’s already asleep.
The mom who carries so much mentally, emotionally, and physically every single day.
The mom who keeps showing up even when she’s exhausted.
The mom who smiles through the chaos because she has no choice but to keep going.

Sometimes moms get so used to taking care of everyone else that they forget they need care too.

Behind the “I’m okay” are tired eyes, silent worries, overwhelming thoughts, and a heart that’s trying its best not to break under pressure.

So this is your reminder today:
You matter too.
Your feelings matter too.
Your rest matters too.

And if nobody has asked you lately…
How are you, mommy? 🤍

Motherhood is exhausting… but also the softest kind of love. ❤️
