One day, they’ll stop reaching for me in the middle of the night.
They’ll stop asking me to carry them, hold them, or stay beside them while they sleep.
One day, they’ll learn how to do things on their own… and slowly, without even noticing, they’ll need me less.
And honestly, that thought breaks my heart a little.
Because right now, even in the chaos, exhaustion, sleepless nights, and overwhelming days… these are still the moments I’ll miss someday.
The tiny hands holding onto mine.
The little hugs that come out of nowhere.
The way they look for comfort in me.
The way they call “Mama” like I’m their whole world.
Motherhood can be tiring, repetitive, and overwhelming.
But deep down, we know these days won’t last forever.
So maybe I’ll say yes to one more cuddle.
One more “carry me.”
One more bedtime story.
One more hug before they grow a little bigger tomorrow.
Because one day… these little hands won’t need mine anymore. 🤎
