EDITORIAL | On campaign by CPP-NPA-NFDP

The process of the Maoist ritual of myth-making is culminated by the burial of the subject myth hero. In the case of Joma Sison, his cult wanted that to happen in the Philippines.

Joma is their main symbol the infallible leader, principal ideologue, and their cult demigod. Being orthodox Maoist, the CPP is built among the personality cult of Joma Sison, their personification of Chairman Mao Tse Tung

They know that after Joma, they will be w/o a symbol and iconic leader. So, they will squeeze all propaganda value they can extract from his death. The most concreate and enduring way they can do is build a shrine for Joma where their zealots can worship and rally around.

That is why Joma's minions and their useful idiots are moving heaven and earth to make sure his body or ash will be brought back and buried in the Philippines.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: United Russia retains its supermajority despite losing seats in Russia's State Duma, the lower house of Parliament.

News of electoral "fraud" reported in the Western mainstream media is a way to de-legitimize Russia's election.

According to the Phil Insider staff, such electoral fraud was not true because of two things: 1) Putin's United Russia lost several of its seats due to lost of support 2) The gains of Communist Party.

United Russia lost popular support from 54.2% in 2016 to 49.82% this year. The lost of support in the ruling party is a clear message that the Russians are disappointed to their pension reforms. Meanwhile, main opposition party, the Communist Party saw huge gains in their popular vote, 18.93% (up 5.59% from 2016). The communists gain support because of their platforms and standing as the opposition party in the previous session of parliament where they held the current government accountable.

With the claims of electoral fraud unproven, foreign interference in Russia's election was clear with US-funded NGO instructing its attendees to make the said election illegitimate. See this link for reference: https://twitter.com/MuradGazdiev/status/1437773616154820613?s=20

With all of this, Russia held its parliamentary election in a generally peaceful way with the ruling party losing seats and the main opposition party emboldened with its recent wins.

β€œWhat a coincidence that there are zero US politicians included in the "Pandora Papers" list of offshore bank accounts. I guess they're all pure and free from corruption! I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that the so-called "leak" was likely a hack by US spy agencies https://t.co/WXIht...

EDITORIAL: Today, we commemorate the declaration of Martial Law. The dark era and the grim abuses, the media, opposition, and their supporters, were caused by Martial Law administrator Defense Minister Juan Ponce Enrile and Philippine Constabulary Fidel Ramos.

According to a reliable source, it was Ramos, in his capacity as Chief of Philippine Constabulary, who issued arrest orders to people in league with Joma Sison's CPP-NPA-NDFP. Camp Aguinaldo and Fort Bonifacio were served as special prisons under Defense Minister Enrile. It was Enrile himself who gave the order to release the said source. The source added that there are no records of human rights abuses to Generals Ver and Abadilla - Marcos' top men in AFP during that time.

Let us not forget that this issue of Martial Law is no longer a cautionary tale but a mere propaganda to prevent a Marcos from returning to power. The tale has been milked too much that the late Marcos' son, B**gbong Marcos almost won the vice presidency in 2016.

"Diktador si Marcos, at hindi niya napagbayaran nang husto ang krimen niya", said VP Leni.

However, PCGG recovered US$4 Billion of alleged ill-gotten wealth of Marcoses. Imelda was convicted for graft. Despite this, 14 million Filipinos voted for BBM as Vice President signifying a shift to the Philippine politics where the people, the masses, wanted a strong-willed politician who is willing to anger the establishment for the improvement of their beloved country. It is also the same for Imee's election as Senator in 2019.

Let us not forget that Cory Aquino appointed Fidel Ramos as Defense Secretary after Enrile resigned. Aquino even supported Ramos' candidacy setting aside her moral ascendancy just because the latter got her back during the multiple coups she faced during her term. Let us not forget that Juan Ponce Enrile who was elected as Senator by several times became the Senate President during PNoy's term - therefore, becoming the third most powerful figure after the latter and then-VP Binay.

What kind of moral ascendancy the Aquinos and the opposition have if they kept backing candidates who is obviously the mastermind of the grim implementation of Marcos' Martial Law?

Declaring Martial Law is legal and constitutional under the then-1935 Constitution of the Philippines. Such declaration needs an approval from both Houses of Congress and it was approved by the Senate and House of Representatives during that time.

Why did Marcos declare Martial Law? Because of the imminent rebellion and terrorism being perpetuated by Joma Sison's CPP-NPA-NDFP.

If Martial Law was really that bad according to the milked narratives of the opposition, why more and more people are already warming up to an idea of Marcos vice presidency or even a second Marcos presidency? The Filipino people wanted actions, not words. They want results.

If the opposition will continue to milk the issue of Martial Law without giving the result the Filipinos wanted if they are in power, they are doomed to fail in every elections and opportunities to come.

OPINION | Community Pantry: CPP's Alternative Way to Receive Financial Support

In January 2021, the Anti-Money Laundering Council has frozen all the assets and accounts of the terror group, Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army-National Democratic Front of the Philippines (CPP-NPA-NDFP). With this, the legal fronts of the said terror group had to find their way to finance their daily work, and propaganda against the government with their main source of finance has been frozen. The second surge of COVID-19 in the Philippines forced the government to put the capital region and its nearby provinces in a month-long lockdown.

The legal fronts of the terror group used the current lockdown to establish a community pantry along the metro where people may donate and receive goods. It also attracted the attention of the media. The purpose of the community pantry is to revive the Bayanihan spirit of the Filipino people during hard times. However, it has been hijacked by the legal fronts of the CPP (such as Anakbayan, Anakpawis, etc.) to promote their selfish and destructive agenda where they distribute pamphlets and magazines persuading people to join a rally against the government on May 1.

Ana Pauline Non is a member of the Concerned Artists of the Philippines; former head of Alay Sining; and national officer of Kabataang Artista Para sa Tunay na Kalayaan (Karatula) who started the idea of community pantry. All of the aforementioned organizations are legal fronts of Armas (Artista at Manunulat ng Sambayanan, the artist wing of CPP. She didn't receive money from the Filipino people to initiate the community pantry. She received a whopping US$10,000 (PHP484,000) in her PayPal account where she received donations from the international area. However, Non didn't disclose for the statement where did the donations go. With this new gimmick of the CPP, they are now able to collect financial support from international individuals despite their accounts being frozen by the AMLC.

We are asking the people to be vigilant on the organizers of the community pantry in their area to avoid their money being taken and used for illegal matters.
